The Sunday evening service was the last to be held on the Dixie this year. Special music was provided for this service by the Church of God youth directed by Rev. Dick Rash. —NW— Church of God News Delegates to the Dallas Youth Convention gave a summary of their experiences in the Sunday evening service. A youth retreat will be held at Yellow Creek Lake, beginning Friday evening and continuing through Saturday. September 6 will be Launch Day for the new Sunday school curriculum. COMMUNITY NEWS Orva Miller was taken to Goshen hospital Thursday morning, while experiencing chest pains. He was released on Sunday, the trouble being diagnosed as acute indigestion. Jay Morehead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morehead, North Webster, was released from Goshen hospital following a recent automobile accident. A family dinner and gettogether took place at the home of Mrs. Mary Stanfield, Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Stanfield, formerly of Etna and now living in California. Others present were the L. H. Stanfields, Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Coy and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Brower and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Scott, Miss Lois Hamm, and Mr. and Mrs. George Staples. v The Virgil Stanfields left for their home on Monday after a week of visiting friends and relatives in the area.
