TWO COUNTY 4-H MEMBERS-TOUR EUROPE Two Kosciusko county 4-H members, Cindy Bishop and Dennis Polk, both of r 2, Leesburg, left Indianapolis by airplane on Tuesday, July 7, on the first leg of a People to People goodwill tour of seven European countries. The mission is privately sponsored and organized under the Goodwill J People to People travel program. Their mission will take them to Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, the Soviet Union, Poland and Germany. Dedicated to improving relations and understanding between America and the people of Europe, its purpose is one of information and education, not tourism. Twenty-one Hoosier 4-H’ers will exchange ideas with their counterparts in the foreign lands and participate in meetings, interviews and receptions with United States and foreign government officials. They will return to New York, Tuesday. July 28. BUILDING FIRM FILES ARTICLES Articles of Incorporation have been filed at the office of county recorder E. RETURNS TO MILFORD Mrs. Arlo Beiswanger of Milford has returned from Huntsville, Ala. She flew there to be with the Jan Fuller family while Mrs. Fuller and new baby daughter were in the hospital. Mr. Beiswanger drove down to Huntsville and spent the July 4 holiday with the family, and they returned back to Milford this past week. The little Fuller boys, Jimmy and Kevin, came back with them and are spending the week with the grandparents at Dewart Lake.

Pioneer Trails Camp Observes 50th Anniversary 24 Pionee Trails The Pioneer Trails Camp on highway 5 south of Cromwell near Indian Village observed their 50th anniversary of their founding with a celebration Friday evening including a dinner at 6 o’clock and a Camp Fire observance scheduled for 9. A total of 550 cub scouts from a three county area, LaGrange, Elkhart and Kosciusko, left this morning by bus from the REMC building at Warsaw for a trip to the Kelloggs Company at Battlecreek. Mich., and a tour of the Gull Lake Bird Sanctuary. There were 175 from Kosciusko county in attendance from the towns of Sidney, Leesburg, Warsaw and Atwood. WISCONSIN COUPLE VACATIONS AT LAKE Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Bliton have returned to their home in Milwaukee after a two-week vacation at Waubee lake. AVIATION CLUB TO FORM AT SYRACUSE A meeting was held Friday evening at the Wawasee airport with plans to organize an aviation club to be open to all pilots and anyone interested in aviation. There were 40 persons in attendance. Named to a committee for selection of a name for the organization were Father’ Stan Grabowicz, Mrs. Preston Wright and Bill Cobum. Tentative plans call for meetings once a month on Friday evening throughout the year. A flying film was also shown. A social hour followed with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Kell as hosts.
