136 4-H Youth To Attend Camp Mack There are 40 boys and 96 girls registered for Elkhart county 4-H camp to be held at Camp Mack, southeast of Milford, from June 21 through 24. Campers are divided into cowboy troops and Indian tribes. Classes and instructors include painting and drawing with Mrs. Marjorie McCahill; archery, Mrs. Pat Champ and Ron Weybright, Syracuse; lacing craft, Mrs. Zerola Zook; general craft with Mrs. Martha Cook; swimming, Miss Charla Presser and Tim Steury; nature study. Mrs. Maureen Neterer; artificial respiration with the Red Cross; and leadership classes taught by the star campers. Star campers are selected each year to plan and lead the next year’s camp. Star campers this year are: Connie Burkholder, Kathleen Rummel, Sue Yoder, John Weybright, and Phil Lechlitner. They have received special training at the area junior leader training camp at Oliver Lake. Area Extension Agents: Youth. Mrs. Karen Honderich and Zale Frey, and Michelle Bullard, will help supervise the 4-H camp. Cabin leaders beside those listed above are: Janis Potterbaum, Donelen Stump, Carol Johnson, Barb Weybright, Tim Hahn, Kurt Bullard, Elizabeth Hart, Carla Crum. Ellen Mills, Mrs. Mary Lou Hershberger, and Debbie Strauss.
