ATTEND DAY CAMP One hundred and 30 Girl Scouts attended the Day Camp held at city park last week Mrs. Robert Stone acted as director with the aid of some thirty adults acting as nurses, registrar, business manager, craft instructors nature and Indian lore consultants, baby sitters, equipment chairman and kitchen aids. CONDUCTSURVEY OF DRIVING HABITS Students of the driver training class of West Noble high school, under the direction of their instructor, Roger Tuggle, con? ducted a two-hour survey of driving habits of motorists in this city recently. During that period of time 1,957 hazardous mistakes were noted by the young people. Their tabulations revealed 390 persons drove too fast for the situation; 60 made jerky stops; 77 made rocking starts, 38 ran sign or signal, 239 failed to come to a complete stop. 21 entered intersection on yellow lights, 170 did not check traffic before making a crossing, 577 failed to signal for a turn, 162 did not signal soon enough. 12 signaled wrong direction. 29 turned improper position or lane, 182 did not look over left shoulder for left turn. The Ligonier United Methodist Church was the site of the June 6 wedding of Miss Teresa Wade and Ralph Reasoner. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wade. Ligonier, and Mr. and Mrs, Robert Reasoner, Cromwell. Prenuptial music was provided by Mrs. Ruth Ann Richards. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of traditional white satin fashioned with an empire bodice, scooped neckline ami long sleeves embroidered with medalions. A detachable chapel-length train of white satin fell from the waist of the A-line skirt. The bouffant veil of illusion was held by a crown of organze and seed pearls. Halsey, son of Mr. and Mrs, Glen Halsey of r 1 Cromwell, has been promoted to sergeant in the U. S. air force. Sergeant Halsey, a radio repairman at Andrews AFB, Md., is serving with a unit of the air force communications service which provides global communications and air traffic control for the USAF.
