PREPARE FOR TRIP ABROAD — Prior to their trip abroad this year, 4-H Caravaners and International Farm Youth Exchangees are indoctrinated in many things, one of which is use of a camera. Here. Holly will be one of three Indiana 4-H Caravans visiting in Japan while Pam and Jon will spend several months as IFYEs in Australia and Panama respectively. TO SPEAK TO COUNTY REALTORS Harley R Seuser, regional representative of the national association of real estate boards, will spend Friday. April 10. in this community consulting with local realtors and other business leaders. Fred Stephens, president of the Warsaw area board of realtors, announced yesterday. Mr. Seuser travels from the headquarters office of the Association m Chicago During his visit, Mr. Seuser will meet with the officers of the Warsaw area board of realtors and address a meeting of the board following a noon luncheon Prior to his service with the realtors’ Association, Mr. Seuser conducted his own real estate office for fifteen years. He has served as a director and president of the Walworth county (Wisconsin) board of realtors, as president of his local chamber of commerce, and on the legislative committee of the national association erf real estate boards. RELATIVES VISIT Mrs. Ida Hibschman of Syracuse has returned to her home from a week end visit with the Herman Jensensat Garrett. Other callers at the Jensen home were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lower and daughter Connie. Mr. and Mrs John Hildrette. all of Toledo; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Johnson and son Eric of Marion; Mr and Mrs. Michael Jensen. Garrett and Mr. and Mrs. HarveyHawkins of Garrett The Lowers and the Hildreths returned Mrs Hibschman to her home and stay ed for a brief visit and fellowship at the Church of God before returning to their Ohio homes

14 YEARS AGO, MAR. 29,1956 Forty-two members of the. eighth grade Indiana history class and their teacher, Bob Henne, made a tour of The Milford-Mail printing plant from 2:45-3:45 p.m. Friday. Raymond E. Willis of Angola died suddenly on Wednesdaynight of last week of a heart attack. He was 80 years old. Services were held yesterday forenoon for Emil Kaiser, 53. former Milford resident, at the Case funeral home, Saginaw. Mich. Fritz Wolferman was hired to take the place of Bob Henne as head coach. Mr. Wolferman will also teach driver training, junior health. Bth grade history, and geography. Bethel Church of the Brethren was the scene of a pretty spring wedding when Miss Shirley Smith, North Manchester, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. W. Harlan Smith, was united in marriage to James W. Mishler, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Mishler. 2652 Albrecht Avenue, Akron. Ohio. Saturday evening, March 24. at seven-thirty o’clock. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Phend returned last week from Bradenton. Florida, where they spent several months. 24 YEARS AGO, MAR 28.1946 The Tusing store located at Hastings, west of Milford, has been purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ruple of Nappanee and is going under the name of Ruple’s General Store. Miss Lorabel Ferverda, teacher in the Leesburg school, accompanied the senior girls of that school on a trip to Niagara Falls last week. They left Leesburg on Friday and arrived home on Sunday night. Miss Betty Lou Haney called on Mrs. Jacob Fox Wednesday . Mrs. Freda Hollar called on her sister. Mrs Velma Biller and children on Wednesday. Mr and Mrs. Lawrence Hartter and family of South Bend were in Milford Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rumfelt called on Mr. and Mrs. W'illiam Weaver and Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Yeager Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Enos Hollar were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hollar and family of New Paris. Miss Shirley Kegebein was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Haney and family. The Syracuse Town Board of Trustees has passed a zoning ordinance for their city and the same has been published.

Billy and Darrell and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Steinke called at the Harve Fisher home in Goshen Bernice Hollar, of Muncie, spent Easter with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Amy Hollar. Lloyd Fowler, who has spent the past several years in Detroit, is visiting in Milford for a short time with his family. ’ James Stuckman and daughters Elizabeth and Margaret were South Bend shoppers Saturday. Alpheus Estep and wife visited at the Lloyd Silveus home east of Milford, Sunday. Harold Tom has closed his sugar camp after making almost 75 gallons of maple syrup. A marriage license was issued by county clerk Leland Kinsey to Oris A. Hauk. 37. of Elkhart and Miss Gladys Weybright, 23, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Weybright of Milford A daughter weighing ten pounds was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beer, Friday evening, Mar. 21. Mr. and Mrs. William Baer of Seattle. Wash., who arrived last week traveled 4.000 miles in their auto in making the trip by the way of the southern route to Milford. They left home
February 10, and took plenty of time in visiting the various places of interest along the way. Mr. Baer says that the prospect for apples in the Yakima valley is good. Area Police Attend School Patrolman Dale Sparklin and Chief Orville Vander Reyden of the Syracuse police department; Patrolman Eddie J. Wright of the Winona police department; and Troopers Donald Sand and Julian Echterling of the Indiana state police attended a fingerprint school on classification and latent fingerprint search. The four day school was held during the week of February 16th in Kendallville and taught by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the sponsorship of the Ligonier district of the Indiana state police. Patrolman Lawrence Firestone and Patrolman Tom Kitch of the Syracuse police department; and Troopers BarryBlack, Larry Yeiter, and James Risner of the Indiana state police attended the school the week of March 16th.
