They were married March 24. HMS. by Rev. J. C. Bailey Mrs Wogoman is the former Ella Dora Campbell of Goshen. The couple has one son. Clifford Wogoman. of Syracuse and we granddaughter and one grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Wogoman were entertained at a Syracuse restaurant Tuesday evening by their son and daughter-in-law.
PRIMARY MOTHERS HOLD MEETING Mrs John Cripe entertained for the Tuesday night meeting of the Syracuse Primary Mothers club with 13 members and one guest, Mrs Ervin Miller, in attendance Mrs. William Gillispie was welcomed into the club. PYTHIAN SISTERS HOLD FIRST MEETING Members of the Syracuse Pythian Sisters lodge held their first meeting of their year on March 18 with eight members in attendance Most excellent chief Mrs. A J. Babcock presided at which time plans were discussed for the year including the cooking of meals for the election board on May 5. Refreshments were served by Mrs Babcock and Mrs Sam Mohler
MRS. JAMES STORK ENTERTAINS WSCS The March meeting of the Milford United Methodist Women's Society of Christian Service was held at the home of Mrs James Stork with Mrs Don Ahrns as co-hostess. The president. Mrs. Robert Brown, opened the meeting with prayer. The program “Understanding Modem Youth” was presented by Mrs. Paul Sands. Selections from current publications pertaining to the subject were read by Mrs. Keith Lindzy, Mrs. James Longfellow. Mrs Vernon Stutzman and Mrs. Ralph Karstedt. Lively discussion by the group was encouraged after which Mrs. Harlan Wuthrich read a summary of some of the problems. During the business meeting cards were signed for members who were ill. Mrs. James Longfellow. chairman of Spiritual Growth. announced the Call to Prayer and Self Demal service would be held on April 2. It was also noted that the district meeting had been held in Goshen and six members had attended this interesting meeting. The decoupage demonstration, given by Mrs Robert Spearman, was attended by 15 members and guests. Future activities to keep in mind are the Mother-Daughter Banquet in May. and the Bazaar m November. The Evening Circle is making a quilt for this event. It was also decided to have another picnic which will include the chilcfr'en in July. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs C. D Bames on April 9. Mrs. Raymond Custer is co-hostess and Mrs Glenn Treesh and Mrs Vernon Stutzman are in charge of the lesson. Statewide Republican Women’s Luncheon The Annual Statewide Republican Women’s luncheon meeting will be at noon Thursday, April 2, in the Egyptian room of the Murat Temple. Indianapolis Mrs. Elly Peterson, assistant chairman of the Republican National Committee, will be the featured speaker Reservations for the luncheon must be made by March 25 to Mrs. John < Mazie > Alexander or Pauline Jordon at Warsaw. A bus will leave Warsaw at six a m. Cars may be parked in the lot south of the railroad on the east side of Lake street

Deborah Wuethrich And Ned Speicher Wed Sunday In Francesville Church
Miss Deborah Kay Wuethrich of r 5 Rensselaer and Ned Lewis Speicher of r 2 Milford were united in marriage by Rev. Wendell Gudeman of the Apostolic Christian church in Francesville at 6 p.m. on Sunday. March 22, in the Francesville church. Miss Wuethrich is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wuethrich of r 5 Rensselaer and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Speicher of r 2 Milford are parents of the bridegroom. A men's sextet sang “The Lord is my Shepherd" and "Each for the Other.” The bride wore a white street length gown of satin covered with lace. A rosette styled headpiece held her veil. She carried a bridal bouquet. Miss Brenda Wuethrich of r 4 Rensselaer served as maid of honor. Mrs. Ted Brooks Installed As Worthy Matron Saturday
Francesville. Miss Janet Stetzler of Morton, 111., and Miss Becky Wuethrich of r 5 Rensselaer. They wore empire styled street length gowns of ice blue and white chiffon with matching bows and veils. Ted Speicher of r 1 Milford served his brother as best man. Ushers were Robert Hoerr of r 2 Milford. Glenn Price. Jr., of Milford. Tom Speicher of r 2 Milford and Brad Wuethrich of Rensselaer. Reception A reception followed the ceremony. It was held in the West Central elementary school. The bridesmaids served from the reception table and relatives including the bridegroom's sister. Amy, opened gifts and displayed them. Following a southern wedding trip the couple will be at home north of Syracuse. The new Mrs. Speicher was a secretary in Lafayette prior to her wedding. Mr. Speicher is a student at Manchester college and plans to become a teacher following his graduation.

Homestead auxiliary council, told of the home to be built for the elderly in the Fort Wayne area and of the work the auxiliary will do Mrs. Carl Shearer presented the film strip “Labor of Love” I which told of the auxiliary’ work at the Lincoln Christian home in Lincoln. DI. The program followed the business meeting which was [resided over by Mrs. D. G. Seely. Discussions were held on the mother-daughter banquet to be held on May 8 and on other projects the ladies have underway including an area ladies meeting to be held in Milford on June 4. Mrs W. W. Free gave the opening prayer and Mrs. Shearer the closing prayer Refreshments were served by the ladies of Evening Circle number one under the direction of Mrs. Elaine Hall and Mrs. Harry Good. President Mrs. Roy Wilkinson presided for the business portion. Devotions were by the hostesses. Response to roll call, What I Enjoy About Spring, was by 16 members and guests, Mrs. Court Slabaugh, Mrs. Melburn Rapp. Mrs. Mabie Burley, Mrs. Ruth Weaver and Mrs. Elmer Schlabaugh. Following other club business and reports on sick members, refreshments were served and a social hour enjoyed. The April meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Howard Bitner with an election of officers to be held Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris of r 3 Syracuse and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gillis of Nappanee spent three weeks in Arizona. The decorations in the chapter room, under the direction of Mrs. Charles Myers, were very impressive carrying out the worthy matron’s emblem, the cross; her motto. “Keep Love in Your Heart”; her watchwords, love and joy; her colors, green and white; and her flower, the red rose. Lighted palms and a rose tree added to the beauty of the room. A reception was held in the dining room which was decorated in the colors of white and green with red roses intermingled with white sweet williams. These decorations and refreshments were under the direction of Mrs. T. A. Miller and her committee.
Attending the bride and bridegroom were Mr. and Mrs. James Garland of Talking Rock, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Williard Payne of Whitestone.
