Nomination for Girls’ Stater will be held next month. A frozen dessert and coffee were served by the social committee. A representative of the Girl Scouts presented an interesting program about Singing Hills, the camp site near Middlebury. Social committee for next month will be Mrs. Wade Mishler, Mrs. Mervin Mishler. Mrs. Robert Geller and Mrs. Noble Fisher. Mrs. Dan Levemicr and Mrs. Lloyd Coy will be in charge of games.

GRASSY CREEK RESTAURANT REOPENS FRIDAY The Grassy Creek restaurant, a popular eating spot in the lake area northwest of Pierceton, will reopen for the season Friday. Feb. 13. The restaurant is owned by Mrs. Frances Shori and within a short time will be open at 7 a.m. each morning for breakfast. Mrs. Shori has operated the restaurant for several years. The establishment will open its doors to the public at 11 a.m. Friday and will remain open until late in the fall. It is located four miles southwest of North Webster and eight miles from Leesburg on county road 450 N. (See ad in this issue'. HOLLY HAHN T O VISIT EUROPE Holly Hahn, r 1 Nappanee, has been chosen for the 1970 4-H Caravan to Europe this summer. She was selected as one of 10 to represent Indiana this year. Holly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hahn who have been a host family on two different occasions and traveled to Africa to visit an International Farm Youth Exchange. Holly says: "This is my eighth year in 4-H. lama member of the Union Guys and Gals, junior leaders. 4-H Holstein and saddle blubs. I have been news reporter, song, health and am secretarytreasurer of the 4-H junior leader club. "As a junior at North Wood high school, I am band president, in GAA. pep club, library club and art club. I am secretary of the Elkhart General hospital junior auxiliary’ and attended the First Christian church in Wakarusa. ”1 feel being a 4-H Caravan delegate offers a great opportunity to meet other people, share news and thoughts and personalities."
