UNITED METHODIST CHURCH ACTIVITIES Several members journeyed to Goshen Monday evening to attend leadership and training classes held at the First Methodist church in Goshen. The youth group is sponsoring the film, “Quo-Vadis,” to be held on February 8. Six local couples are leaving on Friday to attend the “Couples Retreat” to be held at Pokagon state park, returning Saturday. —NW—COMMUNITY NEWS Mrs. J. L. Pearson was admitted to the Goshen hospital Monday afternoon for tests to be given on Tuesday. Mrs. Marion Lantz has returned to her home after a stay in the Goshen hospital. Specialist 4 Charles LaFollett, 3 rd.. is spending 30 days’ leave at home with his family after completing his Viet Nam tour of duty. Mrs. Polly Richwine is leaving in February to spend two months with her sister in California. Mrs. Lester White is recovering from surgery which was performed last week and will be confined to the hospital about four weeks.
