JACKSON BUDGET UP NINE CENTS The budget for Jackson township is up nine cents over the 1968 budget. The proposed budget as published elsewhere in this issue is for 41 cents and will raise $9,302 as compared with the 32 cent budget of this year which is raising $7,254. BUDGET UP 3 CENTS The proposed budget of Tippecanoe township trustee Willis Whisler and his advisory board for 1969, payable in 1970, is up three cents over the current budget. The proposed budget has a 10 cent levy in the fire fighting fund to raise $8,991 and the township fund has a levy of six cents to raise $5,400 for a total rate of 16 cents to raise $14,391. The current budget is 13 cents with a five cent levy in the general fund and an eight cent levy / in the fire fighting fund. The budget appears elsewhere in this issue. X MILFORD DRIVER LOSES LICENSE IN GOSHEN COURT A Milford driver, Romeo Arredondo, 24, lost his driver’s license for a two-month period and was fined $47.25 when he appeared in Goshen city court Monday. Arredondo entered a guilty plea to driving while uncfer the influence. He was arrested by Goshen police at 3:45 a.m. Sunday and lodged in the jail there. He also paid a fine of $23.25 and was given a 30-day suspended sentence for driving without a valid license. , 3
