MISS WARSAW 111 — The third girl to represent the city of Warsaw is Marcia Miller, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Miller of 33 Fairlane Drive, Warsaw. She will be a senior at W’arsaw in the fall. Marcia has brown eyes and dark brown' bair. She is five feet, six inches and weighs 117 pounds. Use Baby Powder On Pet Pigs? Swine members will be pampering their pat 4-H pigs in the hog barn. Have you ever seen the kids put baby powder on their white pigs to make them whiter? How about using shoe polish on their toes to make them blackar? This is only a small amount of the activity which goes on before the show on Tuesday. Os course there always comes the time for showing the pigs. At times you can hardly tell the kids from the hogs among the mass of squealing confusion. Ed Washier, swine superintendent, is planning for well over 300 hogs. There will be 145 4-H members exhibiting in swine project. PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT AT COUNTY FAIR Photography is one project which has 124 4-H members enrolled and planning to exhibit at this year's county fair. The first year 4-H members take and display id black and white pictures that have been taken with natural sunlighting. The second year of photography is a little more difficult with the use of artificial light. For the third year, photography members will be exhibiting 10 cclor pictures that have been taken with both artificial and natural light. Pictures are easy to take but to do a good job in the photography exhibit, 4-H’ers have to pay particular attention to the picture’s composition, clarity, center of focus, background and framing. ARE SHEEP REALLY ALL THAT DOCILE? Sheop, are they really docile little animals or could they break out into a wild fury? Only the 52 4-H sheep members could answer a question like this. The 4-H members are planning to exhibit about 100 head of sheep on Tuesday night of the fair. Barn superintendent, Ivan Zimpkman, has got the job of keeping things clicking in this unpredictable barn.
