PATIENT IN CLINIC Mrs. Norman Hunsberger was taken by plane early Thursday morning to the Cleveland Clinic where she is undergoing treatment. She expects to be released sometime this week. They were supper guests of Mr. and J&rs. Noel Rhinehart. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Heierman, Sr., were recent week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Heierman, Jr., and family at Chillicothe, Ohio. Mrs. Ned Ratcliff of Liberty, Miss., returned to her home Tuesday. She was called to Leesburg by the death of her brother-in-law, Glen Deeter. Ray Ginther and grandchildren were Wednesday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ginther. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shoemaker and family of South Bend spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Mabel Lippincott. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Heckaman and family camped from Friday until Wednesday at Waco Beach, Bridgman, Mich. Miss Thelma Kimmel and Mrs. Ira Kimmel have returned after attending the funeral of a nephew and cousin in Indianapolis. He was injured in an auto accident and death occurred the next day. His girl friend was killed instantly. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kammerer are vacationing in the Ozarks and visiting relatives in Missouri this week. Rev. John Jones is not so well. He is at his home after being dismissed from the hospital. The Nolan McConnells of Peru were July 4 supper guests of the Roger McConnells. Mrs. Roy Mathews of Indianapolis is visiting her brother, Harry Beatty. Mr. and Mrs. John Stookey are camping at the camp site of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stookey. Mrs. Marceile Teeple and Rex of Fort Wayne and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Teeple and son of Richmond spent the Fourth of July at their trailer at Stanton lake. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wildman and children and Raymond Richter of Chicago attended the Lewis family reunion held at Goose lake on July 4. Mrs. Keith Sutton of Greenville, S. C., Mrs. Richard Vanator, Mrs. Robert Long and Mrs. Jackie Pyle of Connersville spent Wednesday evening with Mrs. Richard Allen. Ralph Remy of near Warsaw and Mrs. Esther Lloyd visited their brother, Harold Remy ' of Rochester Sunday. Mr. Remy had been dismissed from the hospital and later in the day went to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Zimmer at Coldwater, Mich.,- to the next two weeks. Mrs. Lloyd also visited Rev. and Mrs. John Jones late Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moberly of Fort Wayne spent the evening of July 4 at the home of the Dick Allens.

The William Brubaker family cf Winnetka, 111., wre Fourth of July week end guests of the Ralph Brubakers. The Funk reunion held their 60th meeting at the Tippecanoe river on July 4. Following the reunion, Mr. and Mrs. George Carter and family spent the evening at the Clifford Coon home. Mrs. Horton Martin of Portland, Oreg., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Ruth Deatsman. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Wallace, and family of Arizona arrived on Sunday to visit his sister, Mrs. Avery Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Max Miller and Mrs. Dick Allen and Max attended the wedding of Dolly Leiky and Don MatheWs at Bristol on June 28. Members of the Tippy Lee club with their husbands as guests attended the Playhouse at Warsaw Tuesday night and saw George M. Mrs. Mildred Klopenstein and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stookey. visited the John Teeples July 4 and all went to Stanton lake where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Eppley and sons of Nappanee, who are camping there this week. Raymond Richter of the Erie House in Chicago is spending a month with the Bill Wildman family. , Mr. and Mrs. Tom Buskirk shopped in Indianapolis Monday and Tuesday. Mrs. Bob Teeple and daughters spent last week visiting in Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Deatsman, Max and Ross left Sunday for a week’s vacation. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Fred Deatsman in Omaha and will tour the Black Hills region. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Goon attended the 25th wedding anniversary observance of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kern at Syracuse Sunday. The Herbert Timmons family had dinner in GOshen July 4 and spent the afternoon in the lake area. Rev. and Mrs. J. Lee Kantenwein and family will tour in the western states next week. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Popenfoose and sons of Fort Wayne spent the Fourth of July~visiting the Walter Hunters and the Dallas Popenfooses. They and the Hunters also visited the Charles Hunters. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woods of Burket and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Goon attended the Grand Old Opera at Nashville, Tenn., recently.
