Lyle Schuman,, president of Lyon and Greenleaf, has always been a consistant booster of Legion baseball and the continued assistance of his firm is greatly appreciated. Post 243 sponsors two teams in the Indiana American Legion play and will probably be the smallest post in the United States to sponsor two teams in the state tourney. There has been an American Legion post 243 team in the state’s Sweet Sixteen fifteen out of the last sixteen years and it is anticipated that this year will be no exception.
