Foreign Language Club Members Interest Varied The membership of the foreign language club consists of those students 'who have studied or are studying a foreign language. Membership is by student choice. Mike Stutzman is president; Fred Hoerr is vice president, and Sandra Yeager is secretary. The club’s activities and interests are varied. At Christmas they learned about the customs of the different cultures for this season and sang representative carols of each language: French, German, 'Latin and Spanish. This was an after - school project. They learned to say familiar phrases — hello; how are you?; I am fine, etc.; in all languages in a homeroom meeting. In the future, from their exchange student they plan to get a look at English as a “foreign language”. They are also considering an outside speaker of mutual interest for another after - school project.
