Wawasee FFA Go To International The halls of Wawasee high school were found void of Future Farmer of America chapter members and vo ag students on December 4. This was the day the chapter visited the International Livestock show in Chicago. At the show some of the best cattle in these United States were viewed by the 34 Future Farmers from Wawasee. style riding and buggies with the three-team hitch of Clydales thrown in for added interest. The rodeo was composed of bull-dog-ging and bronco busting, calf roping and fancy western horsemanship. The real highlight of the trip was the enjoyable spectacle of the fine cattle, sheep and hogs on display in the many acres of the exposition building. CHRISTMAS BANQUETS— Musi?, art, literature, home economics, world history and girls’ physical education teachers and students at Wawasee high school are currently preparing for an early nineteenth-century English Christmas. Featured will be the above group composed of eighth grade girls. The program will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be held in the junior high school gym. Christmas Program Set For Sunday In Milford's Gym

The Milford schools will be presenting a Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2:30 p.m. in the junior high school gymnasium. Directing the 300 students in grades three through eight will be Jim L. White, junior high school instrumental and vocal; Miss Pauline Cork, orchestra: and Mrs. Justin Kneeland, elementary vocal. According to Mr. White, the program is entitled “Follow the Star”. It was written by Margaret Connell, a resident of Bourbon. The program will consist of “Joy to the World”, junior high band and orchestra and grades 3-8. Cynthia Rapp, chimes; “Mary Had a Baby”, elementary with Mrs. Raymond Hoover at the piano: “Winds Through the Olive Trees”, sixth grade with Roxana Auer, cello; “O Little Town of Bethlehem”, elementary with orchestra; “There’s a Song in the Air”, orchestra: “The Shepherds Had An Angel”, third grade: “Happy Birthday, Dear Jesus”, first grade; “What Can I Give Him?”, third grade; “Away in a Manger”, elementary: “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing”, orchestra; and “Glory to God in the Highest”, junior chorus with Mrs. Hoover at the piano.

Well, once again the Boston Cream Pies put on a real good show. This is really an up and coir: -g group and we really enjoy them at the center. They will be coming back real soon to play for us again. This Saturday night we will be having a new group called the Blue Lights from Carousel Productions at Indianapolis. I’ve b?en told this three man group roally swings so come on out and se? the Blue Lights Saturday, Dec. 14. from 8-11 p.m. Don’t forget about the semiformal coming up December 26. Dig those glad rags and special duds out and plan on dancing to that fabulous group called Roosevelt Johnson and the 7C’s. We’ll all have a ball. There will be a youth board meeting Wednesday night, Dec. 11. at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the decorations for the center, the by-laws and a couple other projects we are working on. Pack 47 Holds December Meeting Milford Cub Scouts Pack 47 held its monthly pack meeting on December 2 with Duane Wiggs being announced as the new Cubmaster.
