List Results Os Baseball At Syracuse In the T-ball league at Syracuse the Cards downed the Cubs 19-13. The standings follow: Cards 2 1 Cubs 1 2 In the minor league the Bank downed Pilcher’s 19-4 while the Lions won over the Rotary 14-6 f Standings in the minor league follow: Lions 4 0 Bank 3 1 Pilcher’s 1 3 Rotary 0 4 In the major league the Rotary downed the Lions 9-5. Major league standings are as follows: Pilcher’s 4 1 Lions 3 3 Rotary 3 3 Bank 1 4 Berkeypile’s Continue Winning Ways At Milford Berkeypile’s continued their winning way as they defeated Sharp’s 16 to 3. Jeff Housouer was the pitcher. Ben Waldbeser took the loss for Sharp’s. Jeff Hcusouer and Max Sumpter were selected as the outstanding players of the game. Brock’s defeated Baumgartner’s by the score of 16 to 5. Mark Sorensen gave up five hits to pick up the win. Brent Kaiser was the losing pitcher for Baumgartner’s. Denny Lechlitner and Mike Vanlaningham were selected as the outstanding performers of the game. Tim Yoder struck cut 20 batters while walking only four batters. The Warriprs participated in Roann’s parade Saturday afternoon. Entries in this event were not judged. This coming Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the corps will take part in Bristol’s parade. Mrs. Jack Carr, president of the parents’ organization, called a special meeting of the parents on Monday night. The purchase of another bus was discussed. It was decided to buy the vehicle at this time. During the month of August the parents will sponsor a rummage sale with Mrs. Wallace Buffer as chairman; and also a paper drive and bottle pick-up with Darrel Grissamer as chairman. These projects are to help pay for the bus. Mrs. Maury Snyder was appointed uniform chairman. The Warriors are happy to note that the drum and bugle corps was recognized in the first copy of The Reporter published by the Lakeland School Corporation. Mrs. Shirley Rock of New Paris, the former Shirley Etsinger, has assumed her duties at the NIPSCo office with Miss Leila Connolly. Shirley will be remembered as a former employee in the Syracuse office about a year ago.

Ethna Scott. Earl Alan Meek, 19, of r 2 (Leesburg, factory worker, and Christine Jean Nine, 18, of 603 Lakeview drive, Warsaw, clerk at Jet White, recently applied for a marriage license at the office of Kosciusko county clerk. Merlin Ray Groves, 54, of Milford, factory employee, and Edith Marie Chupp, 50, of New Paris, factory employee, have applied for a marriage license at the office of the Elkhart county clerk at Goshen. Divorce Sult Granted Eldridge Bailey of Milford has been granted a divorce from Bethol Viola Bailey in the circuit court at Warsaw. The couple was married August 6, 1938, and separated January 10, 1967. Executor Appointed Ren S. Clark of Milford has been appointed executor of the estate of the late Helen R. Humphry of Milford. She died May 25, 1968. The estate is estimated at $8,250 in real estate and $41,750 in personal property. Heirs include two cousins, Linda Lee Smith of r 1 and James Harold Bassett, both of Syracuse; and nine other persons, Elizabeth I. Bassett of Syracuse, Betty Jean Allen of Mishawaka, Donald J. White of Mishawaka, John L. White of South Bend, James White of Birmingham, Mich., Jane Bradley, South Bend, and Carrie McFarren, Eula Lee McFarren, Rosetta Miller, Laura Bird and Ren S. Clark, all of Milford. The latter persons listed are not relatives of Mrs. Humphrey. The estate of the late Grace E. Howard of Warsaw has been appraised in probate court. Mrs. Howard died August 20, 1967. The value of the estate is estimated at $15,643. Heirs are a son, Glen D. Evers of Warsaw, and four daughters, Helen Stinger of Warsaw, Mildred Pierce of Leesburg, Lorene Howard of Claypool and Jean Howard of Warsaw. Admitted to Probate The estate-of the late Judge Seth E. Rowdabaugfc of Warsaw, formerly of Syracuse, has been admitted to probate. The First National" Bank of Warsaw and William W. Clark of Menlo Park, Calif., have been appointed coexecutors of the estate estimated at $50,000 in personal property. Judge Rowdabaugh died July 11, 1968. Bertha B. Rowdabaugtf of east Main street, Warsaw, the widow, is the only heir. MILFORD LOCAL . Lynn Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller of 1830 Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, are the parents of a daughter, Debbie Lynn, born July S at 6 a.m. in the Whitley County hospital at Columbia City. Debbie Lynn tipped the scales at seven pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 inches. She has one sister, Angela, who is almost three. Mrs. Miller is the former Linda Moneyheffer of Milford. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Moneyheffer of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Miller of Warsaw. Samuel Moneyheffer of Nappanee is a great-grand-father. WRIGHT, daughter Mr. and Mrs. David C. Wright of Milford are the parents of a daughter, born Tuesday, July 23, in the Goshen hospital. KRAUTER, Jay Lynn Mr. and Mrs. Larry Krauter of 107 west Portland, Syracuse, are the parents of their first child, a son, Jay Lynn, bom at 9:27 p.m. Saturday, July 27, in the Goshen hospital. Jay tipped the scales at seven pounds, eight and a half ounces. The maternal grandfather is Wayne D. Kaylor of Bremen and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Emil E. Emmons of Milford and Wayne Krauter of Elkhart. Mrs. Ward Rensberger of Milford is a paternal greatgrandmother and Mrs. Charles Price of Milford is the paternal great-great-grandmother. Ernest Krauter of Milford is the paternal great-grandfather, and Mrs. Ervin Weldy of Bremen is the maternal great-grandmother. Supremes At State Fair INDIANAPOLIS — Diana Ross and the Supremes will bring their “Motown Sounds” to the Indiana state fair Thursday, Aug. 29, for two shows. The group will perform in front of the grandstand at 6 p.m. and at 8:30. Diana Ross and the Supremes are well known internationally, and in the last few years they have made themselves the top female vocal group in the world. The popular vocal trio has entertained in virtually every nation in the world. It has performed in the country’s finest nightclubs, the capitals of Europe, top television programs, vast concert
halls and in college auditoriums. Gold records are nothing new to Diana Ross and the Supremes. They now have more than seven gold records. They also have had five consecutive records reach the top spot on the best selling charts. No other American group has matched this achievement. Pre-fair entertainment features a free Western Hors show August 19, 20 and 21, and the Indiana State Fair Queen contest (free) August 22. The Hoosier Hundred Auto Race September 7 is billed as a postfair event.
