MILLER, Shelley Renee Mr. and Mrs. Manis Miller of Dewart Lake are the parents of their first child, a daughter, bom at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in the Goshen hospital. The infant has been named Shelley Renee. She tipped the scales at seven pounds, eight ounces. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Fox of r 1 Milford, and Mrs. Linden Miller of Warsaw is the paternal grandmother. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs, Roy Fox of r 1 Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Whitehead of New Paris, and Mrs. Sarah Elliott of Prestonburg, Ky.

The mother is the former Virginia M. Krebs. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Krebs of r 2 Leesburg are the maternal grandparents, and Mrs. Audria Adams of 651 W. Jefferson street, Warsaw, is the paternal grandmother. LOCKWOOD Son Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lockwood of r 1 Milford are the parents of a son bom Wednesday, March 13, in the Goshen hospital. MARTINEZ Daughter A daughter was bom in the Goshen hospital Thursday, (March 14, to Mr. and Mrs. Jose Martinez of Milford. WOOD, Steven Edward A nine pound, 11 ounce son, Steven Edward, was born at 10:38 p.m. Friday, March 15, in the Murphy Medical Center to Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Wood of r 1 Milford. Steven has one brother, Douglas Eugene. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Byrer, and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Wood, all of Warsaw. CLARA PRICE TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY MONDAY Mrs. Clara Price of Milford will celebrate her 85th birthday on Monday. A family celebration will be held in the home of her son, Glenn Price, Sr., on r 1, Sunday. BREAK-IN AT WAWASEE LAUNDROMAT Police chief Dan Ganger of Syracuse and officer Dale Sparklin are investigating a break-in at the Wawasee Laundromat at 1000 S. Huntington 'street. The officers were called to the business at 6:20 a.m. today (Wednesday) by owner-operator Rodney Koontz who reportedly stacked some $lO6 on a table in his office last evening and found only $6.35 remaining this morning. Dimes, nickles and quarters made up the $99.65 which the thief'or thieves made off with. Entrance was gained by removing the hasp and lock from a back door into a boiler room on the southeast side of the building and then crawling through a window into the office. J. T. ISBELL BURNED MARCH 1 James Thomas (“Jim”) Isbell received second and third degree bums on the upper part of his body March L The accident causing the burns, occurred at his place of employment in Mishawaka. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Isbell of Syracuse. At the present time he is being kept in isolation. Mr. Isbell recently finished four years of service with the armyin Viet Nam. He plans to enter college. EMERGENCY UNIT CALLED TO SPORTSMAN BAR The emergency unit of the Syracuse fire department was called to the Sportsman Bar Tuesday evening at 7:10 when Elwood Foster suffered a mild heart attack. Mr. Foster had his medication with him and had taken it prior to the arrival of the emergency unit. The Frank A. Rehrers are returning to Syracuse this week after spending the winter months in California. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Soule have returned to their home on r 3 Syracuse from Taveras, Fla., where they spent the winter.
