Mrs. Wilson Heads Camp Fire Ass'n. At Syracuse The Syracuse Camp Fire Association held its annual meeting in the s scout cabin on Novembar 1. There were 15 present. Mrs. Raymond Wilson presided when the folowing officers were elected to sene in| ‘ 1968 President — Mrs. Raymond Wilson Vice president — Mrs. Bill Darr Secretary — Mrs. Gene Kitson Treasurer — Mrs. Betty Dust Registrar — Mrs. Melvin Weaver Group organizer — Mrs. James Feits Supply — Mrs Allen Shively Publicity Mrs. Mary Benson It was reported that 141 are registered in Camp Fire at the present including leaders and sponsors. With a membership of 10. the executive committee has had an average attendance of eight throughout the year. It was reported that 1.348 boxes of candy were sold by the i girls in the candy Sale on October 7. The Christmas tree lighting ceremonies will be on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 3 p m on the scout cabin grounds. Boy scouts and cub scouts will participate; each Camp Fire girl is asked to bring six holiday decorated cup cakes. Mrs. Melvin | Weaver will be in charge of arrangements. NORTH WEBSTER Hospital Notes Mrs Albert Kurtz and Mrs. Jerry Moore, both of r 1 North Webster, were released from the Whitley County hospital Wednesday. Ric.iard G. Monk, r I North Webster. was treated in the emergency room of the Murjihy Medical Center Wednesday and released. Rhonda Orten. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Orten. Syracuse, has been released from the Elkhart hospital. Danny Darr, r 4 Syracuse, was admitted to the emergency room of the Murphy Center Friday and released. Fletcher E. Marsh. Syracuse. • was admitted to the Murphy Medical Center Monday. Jason Kistler, 3. son of George I Kistler,, r 4 Syracuse. was treated in the emergency room of the Murphy M.dical Center Monday and released. Mildred Charlton, r 3 Syracuse, was treated in the emergency room \ of the Murphy Medical Center Monday and released. MILFORD . LEESBURG Hospital Notes Lori Jo Kammerer, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kammerer of r 2 Leesburg, was admitted to the Murphy Medical Center last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Kammerer received treatment in the cow- *ncy room. Mr. Kammerer was later admitted. Both Mr. Kam.ii rar and Lori were released j Thursday. Jack Kougel of Leesburg entered 1 the Murphy Medical Center Wednesday. H. was released Monday. Mrs. Donald Wallace of Leesburg was treated Wednesday in the omere ncy room of the Murphy Medical Center. Mrs. Helen Humphrey of Milford was admitted to the Goshen hospital Thursday with a broken hip. She is in room 226. Mrs. Paid Yoder of Leesburg was treated over the week end in the emergency room of the MurphyMedical Center. Mrs. Delbert Dippon of Milford was released Saturday from the Elkhcrt hospital. Gordon Secor of r 2 Leesburg was treated in the emergency- room of the Murphy Medical Center Mouthy. LARRY SCHEI ERS, SYRACUSE. HOME FROM VACATION Mr. and Mrs. Larry Scheuer of Syracuse returned home Friday night from a vacation trip They visited Mrs. Scheuer’s father, Robert E. Buster at Scottsburg, and visited at Cave City.
