Deborah Money At Lake Erie College College has begun for Miss Deborah Money a member of the class of 1971 at Lake Erie college, Paines-1 ville, Ohio. Miss Money has had a week of orientation including placement tests and campus social events. Important among the latter was the annual dinner and reception for new , students at which occasion Lake ! Erie college president, Dr. Paul Weaver introduced college administrators and faculty to new Students — 171 freshmen, eight transfers. Opening convocation, a traditional event welcoming students to the college and the community was held in Morley Memorial Music building Sunday, Oct. 1. Fall term classes are now in session. Miss Money is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl R. Money of' Syracuse. She was a varsity cheerleader at Syracuse high school. SYRACUSE LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Beck, Syracuse, visited their granddaughter Cinda Beck at the McCray hospital, Kendallville, last Friday afternoon. They were supper guests in the home of their son, Wendell Beck, and family at Avilla. Later Mr. Beck, Wendall Beck and Wendy Sue attended the East NoMe-Angola football game. Mrs. Ada Zeltinger, r 4 Syractfie, has returned to her home after a week’s visit with her son Paul and Mrs. Zeltinger at Chicago.
