Lindzy, 44, of Syracuse, was demolished Thursday afternoon after being forced off SR 25 east of Palestine. On Monday evening the plan commission met in the town hall with nine members present. David Culley, r 2, was admitted to the Goshen hospital Saturday for medical treatment. TEN YEARS AGO Mr. and Mrs. Ray Foster were Sunday guests of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Mabie. It was reported last week that Eli Lilly purchased the Sargent hotel on the north shore of Lake Wawasee adjourning his estate. Danny Cripe, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Cripe was admitted to the Goshen hospital Friday. The Newcomers dub met May 22 m the home of Mrs. J. D. Clark, with 27 members present. Miss Ann Hilbert was guest of honor at a wedding shower given by Mrs. Orval Snobarger at Howard’s restaurant Tuesday evening. TWENTY’ YEARS AGO A large bam on the Elnora Mil- o ler farm, two miles northeast of , town, was moved about three feet off its foundation by a wind storm here on Wednesday night. Mrs. William Watts fell at her home here Tuesday and fractured her hip. She was taken to the Elkhart hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Robinson and son, Ronny, will spend the week end at Indianapolis with Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Daft. Mr. and Mrs. Merl Tucker of Angola were Sunday afternoon callers in the home of Mrs. Tucker’s brother, Steve Finton. Mr. and Mrs. H. D. McClintic of Kalamazoo, Mich., will spend the week end here with relatives. Linda Bassett who has spent two weeks with them will return home.
