Taxed Facilities The letter received by superintendent Eaton from the Warsaw school board was signed by its president Ethan Kaufman. us to absorb any additional areas.” Full Text The full text of the letter follows: “We wish to thank you for your letter of December 20, 1966, concerning the possibility of better serving our students through an additional reorganization within Kosciusko and Whitley counties. The Warsaw Board of School Trustees has always had a very warm. kind, and understanding feeling for its neighbors. In the special case of the Whitko Community School Corporation, one would hare to go even farther and describe the Warsaw board’s feeling as being one of sympathetic concern. In 1966. the Warsaw School consolidated with three neighboring (or adjoining) townships. This required much work and considerable adjustment, neither of which is yet complete. “Recent consolidations have taxed our facilities to the limit. Consequently. it is with sincere regret that our determination must be that it would be very difficult indeed for us to absorb any additional areas”.
