Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wiggs and family of Milford spent the holidays with her sister and family, S/Sgt. and Mrs. Donald C. Hedegard, at Selfrich AFB in Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wolf of near Milford entertained at a dinner Wednesday in honor of thendaughter, Renee’s, seventh birthday. The traditional birthday cake was served. Max Ruch, a member of the U. S. army, arrived home last Monday from Fort Hood, Tex. Ann Purdum. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Purdum of Milford, came home last Tuesday to spend the Christmas holidays with her parents. She is a student at Hanover college. Susie Price, Michele Conn, Earleen Fisher and Jane Baumgartner arrived home Wednesday, Dec. 21, to spend the Christmas holidays with their parents? They are all students at Indiana university. Douglas Baker and family of Warsaw, Mrs. Alice Baker and Gordon Blauser, both of Milford, were dinner guests of Mrs. Phyllis Weisser near Milford last Sunday. A gift exchange was held. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith and sons. Miss Connie Biller and Tom Nealis of Milford spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tom at Elkhart. On Christmas morning the Miller family gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Snyder near New Paris for a 6 o'clock breakfast. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Yoder and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sorensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wuthrich and family, and Marshall Miller, all of the Milford area: and Ralph Whitehead of Etna Green. Dinner was held at 1 p.m. in accordance | with a family Christmas tradition. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bushong and Johnny of Waubee Lake entertained members of their family on Christ-1 mas eve. David Boyer, who is stationed at Great Lakes with the navy, spent last week end in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith at Milford. David is the nephew of the Smiths.

America chapter began its annual 1 seed sales campaign last week. ;. Persons in the area will be contacts ed by the members who have a d large variety of seeds ranging from s flowers to vegetables. Realizing that there is a bird f problem in this area, the FFA - chapter has been conducting a pest - hunt. It is suggested that anyone being bothered by birds or rodents t contact one of the FFA members t for a little free extermination . \wk.
