A total profit of $495.09 was reported on the fall festival and the election day dinnei' project. Members were reminded they should not forget secret pals at Christmas time. Announcement of the forthcoming Christmas party for the past presidents will be held December 15 at the A’ellow Banks hotel at 7 with a gift exchange. The annual Auxiliary Christmas party will be held at the Legion home December 20 with a gift exchange and a sack lunch. Mrs. Mervin Wagoner and Mrs. Harley Lemmon were appointed to investigate the upholstering project, for chairs in the Legion home. Representatives of all organizations will meet Wednesday ixiglit . to discuss a community Christmas party for the entire town. It was announced that anyone interested is invited to attend. The door prize was won by Mrs. John Roberts. —NW— Charm ’N’ Chatter Club Enjoy Christmas Dinner The annual Christmas dinner meeting of the Charm ‘n’ Chatter extension homemakers club was held last Monday night at a local restaurant with approximately 20 members and guests in attendance. Following the turkey dinner, Mrs. ■ Loren Badskey installed the officers for the 1967 term in an impressive candlelight ceremony. Officers installed were Mrs. Marvin Ward, president; Mrs. Donald G. Richards, rice president; Mrs. Gilbert Baumle. secretary: and Mrs. Carl Poland was installed as treasurer by proxy since she was unable to attend. The program consisted of the history of the song of the month. “Joy To The World” given by the chorister, Mrs. Paul Scott, and sung by Mrs. Scott and her sister. Mrs. George Staples who also sang another duet entitled, ‘‘And There Were Shepherds”. Mrs. Robert Ritchie read a story by Ruth Saw'yer, “The Wood Carver of Hollenthal”. Secret pals were revealed in the ensuing gift exchange and a separate gift exchange was held for the guests who were Mrs. O. B. Joy. Mrs. Richard Snoke, Miss Karleen Richards. Mrs. John Valentine. Mrs. M. C. Stanfield and Mrs. S. E. Marvin. Members serving on the committee were Mrs. Loren Badskey and Mrs. Preston Gregory. Post Office Employees Enjoy Christmas Dinner Employees of the North Webster post office and their spouses enjoyed a Christmas dinner at a local restaurant last Saturday night. Samuel Jene Lundy are parents of a daughter, Kimberly Jo, born on Friday afternoon, Dec. 9, at 4:29 at the Elkhart hospital. The baby weighed eight pounds. ounces and is the couple’s first child. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Firestone of Syracuse and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Lundy of North Webster. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Hannum of Switz City are paternal greatgrandparents. O’Haver, Syracuse, was granted a divorce in the Kosciusko circuit court at Warsaw last week. She received custody of two minor children, ages three and five, and S2O a week support.
