Old Fashioned Christmas Party Enjoyed Thursday The ladies of the Milford Christian church enjoyed an old fashioned Christmas party Thursday evening in | the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Forrest Ramser gave the opening and Mrs Don Hall gave a reading in an old fashioned Christmas setting. Carols were heard in | the background. The Christmas tree lights and ker- i osene lamps were used for lighting | with a fireplace and greenery com- ' pleting the decorations. Net Christ-. mas tree nut cups were found at j each place setting. Mrs. Roger Graff gave the introduction for the installation of new i officers and Mrs. Carl Shearer ser-1 ved as installing officer. Mrs. Marvin Rapp, outgoing treasurer, was recognized for having served 15 years. Nuts, candy, fancy cookies, cofffee. tea and punch were served during the refreshment period and secret pals were revealed in a gift exchange. Names were drawn for 1967. At the close of the evening each guest was presented a popcorn ball in the spirit of an old fashioned Christmas. WSCS In Regular Meeting Thursday, December 8 The Women's Society of Christian Service of the Milford Methodist church met Thursday evening, Dec. 8. at 7:30, for its regular meeting with Mrs. Lawrence Myers presiding. . .After a short business session the meeting was turned over to the evening circle for the program A pantomine. "For This Little Time", was presented by Mrs. Harlan Wuthrich, Mrs. Robert Brooks. Mrs. Charles Greene, Mrs. Darvle Hoover, Mrs Paul Sands and Mrs Robert Ruch. Bongs were led by Mrs Robert Brown and accompanied by Mrs C. D. Barnes. Everyone enjoyed a silent auction later in the fellowship room. Refreshments of mint dessert and coffee and tea were served by Mrs. Dale Sorensen. Mrs. Richard Felkner, Mrs Dallas Bjella and Mrs. Donald Anderson. The serving table was decorated for the Christmas season.

Annual Miller Reunion Held Last Sunday The annual Christmas dinner of the Miller family was held in the Benton Community hall on Sunday. Twenty-two members attended. They were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miller. Mrs. Janet Miller and Joyce, ail of Goshen; Mr. and Mrs. John Miller and daughters of Milford: Mr. and Mrs. Tim Hall and daughter. Shelby, ol Marion: Miss Anna Miller of Gas City; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Helmuth and Rita of Warsaw; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Darr and EUy Blakesley, all of Syracuse; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Kendallville. Guests were Mrs. Ellen Krause of Goshen and Miss Connie Cole of Gas City. Officers elected were Russell Miller, president; Eugene Miller, vice president; and Mrs. Lester Darr, secretary and treasurer. An auction was conducted by John Miller. Next year the dinner will be held on December 10. Mrs. Herman Miller will be the guest of the Atwood Study Extension club at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Wolf, Atwood, this evening. December 14.
Pollyanna 4-H Club Has Christmas Party The Pollyanna 4-H club of Syracuse held its Christmas party in the home of Connie and Elaine Hoopingarner on December 7. The dub voted to attend the Community Christmas Tree project December 11 at the Scout cabin. Officers were elected for the 1967 4-H dub year as follows: President, Susan Wilson; vice president. Linda Bushong; secretary. Elaine Hoopingarner: treasurer. Becky Geable; reporter. Susan Elliott; recreation. Cheryl Hadley; song leader, Connie Hoopingarner; and health and safety, Rhonda Lawson. A Christmas game was played with Becky Gieble winning the prize. There were 10 members and one guest. Ann Brice, present. The next meeting will be held Decmber 28 in the home of Connie and Elaine Hoopingarner. Anyone wishing to join is asked to contact the leader at 457-2839 before this date as enrollment will close then. ’We read this somewhere. AREA LADIES ENJOY BAZAAR Four area ladies enjoyed the International Bazaar at Bloomington recently. Mrs. Glenn Price, Mrs. Dean Dowty, Mrs. Oliver Replogle and Mrs. Noble Fisher, all of the Milford-Syracuse area, enjoyed a trip to Indiana university. At the university they were joined by Susan Price and Eariene Fisher. They enjoyed the bazaar in the Union building, dinner in the Touter room and shopping at the Eastland shopping center and the college mall.

Women’s Relief Corps Has Chistmas Party John C. Adams, 278. Women’s Relief Corps of Syracuse met Monday evening, Dec. 5, in the Legion hall. A pot luck supper and gift exchange was followed by the regular business meeting conducted by the president. Mrs. Georgia Buster. Election of officers was held for the coming year. Mrs. John Craw was elected president for the coming year. Also elected were Mrs. Mae Rinker, senior vice; Mrs. Georgia Buster,
