Bride in Taffeta-faced Gown The bride given in manage by her father, appeared wearing a taffetafaced peau de soie wedding gown. The empire bodice was fashioned with a Sabrina neckline etched with seed pearls and long sleeves tapering to bridal points. The princess style
skirt flowing softly to a slight A-line was highlighted by a bias band and tiny pearls over lace. Chantilly lace and seed pearls were repeated on the front panel. A detachable train fell from a back bow and swept to chapel length. Her veil of French illusion was secured by a forward headpiece of crystal and pearls. The bride carried an arrangement of white chrysanthemums centered with yellow rosebuds. Mrs. Billy Hudson of Warsaw served as matron of honor and Miss Patricia Smaltz of Leesburg was bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the birde. They wore identical gowns of gold satin with matching headbands. They carried a cascade arrangement of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums. Michelle Hudson, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a gold brocade dress. Timmy Ha'.ris of Plymouth carried the rings on a white satin pillow. James Hiss of Michigan City served his brother as best man. The 125 guests were seated by Man in Lowery and Ronald Harris of Plymouth and Billy Hudson of Warsaw. Reception A reception was held at the Plymouth Conservation club house following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Gettysburg. Pa., and Washington. D. C., the newly married couple is residing at 215 Fort Wayne avenue. Warsaw. The bride is a graduate of Leesburg high school and is employed in the office of Zimmer Mfg. Co., at Warsaw. The bridegroom is a Plymouth high school graduate and attended the Acme School of Tool and Die Engineering Design. He is a project engineer and is employed at Zimmer’s. Christmas Plans At Leesburg The Leesburg Merchants Association is encouraging all residents to decorate their homes during the Christmas holidays. The downtown area has its decorations up and a large tree will be decorated at town hall. Santa Claus will arrive in town on December 10 at 1 p.m. to visit the children from 1 to 5 at town hall. A live nativity scene will be on display at town hall on the evening of December 21 and again on the 23d. The Leesburg Methodist and the Brethren churches will be in charge of the scenes and their choirs will sing Christmas carols. Honored At Bridal Shower A bridal shower was held at the South Bend Democrat club Sunday afternoon in honor of Miss Janet Anglin. Hostesses were four aunts of the bridegroom-to-be. Bunco was played by the guests. Burgundy and white were used in the decorations of the hall. Refreshments were served to 120 guests. Attending from Leesburg were the honored guest, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Anglin and Cindy, Miss Judy Smith and Miss Suzie Rowland. Second Shower for Bride-Elect Miss Judy Smith entertained at a bridal shower in honor of Miss Anglin in her home Friday night. She was assisted by Mrs. John Dye and j Mrs. Donna Robinson.
