Mary Leamons, Donald Metzger Wed Saturday Mrs. Mary Leamons of North Weister and' Donald Metzger were united in marriage at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the local American Legion home The double ring service was performed by Stanley Hamman before approximately 25 guests Mr and Mrs Donald Cretcher were the couple’s only attendants. Mrs Metzger chose a light blue street length dress for her wedding and selected accessories in white and a corsage of red American Beauty roses. Mrs. Cretciier’s cor-, sage was of white carnations. Mrs. William Graff of New Paris and Mrs. Everett Darr of Syracuse ! served at the reception which was held immediately following the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Smith and Mrs. Elmer Sorensen, met Wednesday evening in the church basement for a class meeting. The business meeting was opened by the president, Greg Jackson. Devotions for the evening were given by Linda Kesler. The district skating party to be ; held in November and a visit to the 1 Alfran nursing home in December , were discussed. It was decided to j set the date of January’ 21 for going to South Bend to work at the Service Center. After the business meeting a film called “God’s Plan”, concerning stewardship was shown. AfterI wards, discussion was held. Refreshments were served by John Hoover and Sherrie Jackson. There were 10 members present. '
