Miss Nancy Clark And Richard Strong Wed At Syracuse October 23
Reverend August Lundquist, pastor i of the Syracuse Methodist church and Reverend W. Noble Green of the : Kemp Memorial Methodist church. Tipton. Ind., officiated for the double , ring wedding ceremony Sunday, Oct.; 23. at 2 30 in the Syracuse Methodist church, which united in marriage!. Miss Nancy Jill Clark of Syracuse! and Richard John Strong of Milwaukee. Miss Clark is the daughter of Mrs. Fred 0. Clark and the late Dr Fred O. Clark of Syracuse. Mr. Strong is L the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald W. Strong of Milwaukee. A floral arrangement of large yellow mums, coral mums, and cama- ; lions was placed just behind the altar. A garland of greens festooned a- i cross the front of the pulpit and lec- i turn with bouquets of apricot mums backed by turquoise bows of velvet ' at several intervals. The pews were decorated with turquoise satin bows. I’eau de sole Bridal Gown The bride’s gown was of antique ivory peau de soie and imported Alencon lace elaborately embroidered with seed pearls. The silhouette was empire with a U-shaped neckline and iace-trimmed short sleeves. The hirise waistline was accented by a floral spray of seed pearls. A court train, bordered with pearltrimmed lace parted at the shoulders. ■ Her cathedral veil was of silk illusion and was held in place by a cluster of ivory silk roses. The bride car-, ned a crescent-shaped bouquet of Tropicana roses, centered with yellow cymbidium orchids and hacked w jth sprays of green ivy.

The bride was given in marriage Iby her brother. Dr. Jack P. Clark, of Syracuse. The beatuiful wedding music was played on the organ by Mrs. Jerald J. Longenecker of North Webster. Mrs. Fred 0. Clark, mother of the bride, sang two selections. “God Gave Me I You” and “With This Ring I Thee Wed.” I The altar candles were lighted by the twx> small nephews of the bride, sois of Dr. Jack Clark. They were dressed in formal attire. The maid of honor, Miss Judy Kutz of Milwaukee, and the bridesmaids, Miss Cathy Ann Clark and Miss Susan Kay Clark, daughters of Dr. Jack Clark, wore floorlength turquoise chiffon gowns with silver and turquoise brocade bodices and floorlength veils of turquoise silk illusion. Their slender-lined gowns had portrait necklines and short bril-shaped sleeves. The attendants carried cres-cent-shaped bouquets of yellow roses. The bridegroom wore formal attire with a Tropicana rose boutonniere. The best man. Douglas Strone, brother of the bridegroom, grootvman Robert Gossler, friend of th * bridegroom, all of Milwaukee, wire formal attire with bouttonnieres of white carnations. Mrs. Clark, mother of the bride, wore a floor-length gown and coat of rosette chiffon and her flowers were green cymbidium orchids. Mrs. Strong, mother of the bridegroom. wore a floor-length turquoise chiffon dress and her flower was a large white orchid.
I The bridegroom's father wore formal attire as did Dr. Jack Clark. Both had white carnation boutonnieres. , The guest book was in charge of Mrs. Jack Claris. Reception in Fellowship Hall ! The reception was held in the ' church Fellowship hall. A stereo tape including music selected for the occasion by the bride and recorded by the brother of the bride, Jerry Clark, was played. The beautiful reception table held a four-tiered white wedding cake decorated with yellow buttercream roses, frosted white doves, bells and lilies of the valley; also yellow punch, coffee, small open-faced nuts and mints. ! Mrs. Jerry Grady of Syracuse cut and served the wedding cake. Miss i.Betty Wells of Milwaukee served the punch and Mrs. Greg Strong of MilI waukee served the coffee. The out-of-town guests included the bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Strong, friends and relatives of the bridegroom, and relatives and friends of the bride. The bride and bridegroom are on a trip through the east and south including Florida and the Virgin Islands. They will reside in Milwaukee where the bridegroom is manager of Strong's Food Market.

Robot Wins Grand Prize At Milford's Halloween Parade
A black robot with blinking red light and beep, beep sound won the grand prize at the Milford Halloween parade Saturday evening. The robot was Darle C. Hoover. Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Darle C. Hoover, Sr., of Milford He received $5. Young Darle also placed first in the spaceman category. The $2 most unusual prize went to Andy Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown of Miiford. He attended the perade dressed as Charlie Chaplain. Andy also placed second in the originals Durward Seely, general charman of the event, served as master of ceremonies. Mr. Seely represented the Lions club. Mrs. Oliver Replogle served as chairman of the Legion Auxiliary committee. Herbert Felkner served as chairman of the Legion committee and Ralph Gansert headed the Emergency Squad. Judges were Mrs. Joe Sunthimer. Mrs. Wade Mishler and Ed Washier. Category prizes awarded were as foltows: Hißbilly — Lark Ruch, first; Kathy Replogle, second. Colored — Pat Buhrt, first; Philip Beer, second; and Kathy Price, third. Devil — Brent Kaiser, first; Mike Sumpter, second. Storyland — Mark, Todd and
