Newly Organized School Chorus Presents Concert The newly organized Syracuse high school chorus of 85 voices under the direction of Mrs. Ralph Bushong presented a concert on October 19 at 7:30 pm. in the Syracuse Calvary EUB church. The concert was sponsored by the Women’s Society of World Service of the church. The concert was the first public appearance for the chorus, and it is hoped it will call attention to what the Syracuse high school has to offer the community. Another concert wdl be presented at the Christmas season. Donna Huff is the accompanist Becky Geible is at the bells and there are sevral soloists. Senior Snoop! By Janet Benson The seniors of Syracuse high school were asked the following question: "What does being a senior mean to me?” We received many replies and the best answers were chosen. They are as follows: "At the beginning of this school . year, the class of 67 walked through the halls feeling rather empty inside. We didn’t see any of our familiar friends from last year's senior class. Now the. tune has come when our class kis finally made it to tin* top. Tt»e underclassmen can look up to is tn admiration. We must set good examples for the other students to follow, as they should do when they become seniors. "Recently, I have caught myself reminiscing my years in school. I realize school lias been a taken for granded part’ of my life. It will seem strange this time next year when I will no longer attend es"Most of the seniors feel the same as 1 do. Even though most of us are going to college, none of us are exactly sure what we want for the future. However. I am looking forward to meeting new people, and experiencing life in The Cold Cruel. World.’ "I plan to make the rest of my senior year die best ever, for it is my last year. And it will leave an everlasting snpressioti throughout my life.” "Being a senior is the achieve-, nient of my first goal. Kincaid Os Danville Is Assistant Director Os Indiana Fann Bureau INDLANAPOLIS, - Meredith M Kincaid, Danville, has been named as assistant director of the organization department of Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. The announcement was made today by Farm Bureau President. George Doup. “The increasing activities of the Farm Bureau organization department have made it necessary to expand the staff in order to adequately serve the organizational interest of the members of Indiana's largest farm organization,” Doup indicated. Kincaid will assist in the development, coordination and implementation of field service activities. He is also to assist in the training, counseling and supervising of the 20 regional field assistants, according to Hollys Moon, director of the organization department. Kincaid has been a regional field assistant in Farm Bureau’s fifth district since 196 p. The new assistant director is a native of Boone county and lived on a farm with his parents before entering Purdue. After he was graduated from Purdue, he served for 19 months under the NATO comnand in France. Prior to joini ing Farm Bureau, he taught vo- : cational agriculture in Hamilton county.
