He has been visiting Syracuse every’ summer except \ last summer when he visited his I birthplace on the island of Crete, ‘ since 1920. Miss Diana Josephine Lung and Michael A. Rigdon of Chicago and Lake Wawasee were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 21, in the All ' Saints Episcopal Chapel, Lake Wawasee. The Syracuse firemen made plans for their annual picnic at their regular meeting Wednesday evening. The picnic will be held on the Scout cabin grounds on September 19. Monday evening visitors in the Wayne Coy home were Mrs. Gloria I Lutes and children of Nappanee and Mrs. Forest Plank of Syracuse. FIFTEEN YEARS AGO Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Kroh and son of Fort Wayne spent the Labor Day week end in the homes of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Kroh and Dr. and Mrs. S. M. Casey. A son, Paul Rollen, was born to Mrs. and Mrs. Edward T. Coy Tuesday in the Goshen hospital. George Albert, 43, Chicago, a B and O Railroad employe died in a heart attack in the railroad camp Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Robinson and sen Ronnie, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Method, Eldred Mabie and daughter Sally were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Daft at Indianapolis. Elhanan Miles of Hammond visited last week in the home of his sister, Mrs. Sam Searfoss.

Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Art) Wagner of Syracuse, has enlisted in the Army Security and is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
