ing these established periods of time so that if a ft4low did not want to get killed or tipped over by the activities of these oddities, he could stay home and sit on the front yard and watch them jar their brains loose so that they will better qualify for Medicare when, and if. they arrive at that age. The period of time set aside for these unconventional activities should be made just as short and sweet as possible so that the general recreation life on the lakes can proceed without fear of death being inflicted upon them by the actions of the oddities.

Another thing, we are getting more and more large Great Lakes’ tvpe cruisers on our lakes and which dish out a water swell that in calm weather travels for half a mile over the water and viciously rocks small boats in the vicinity of the swell. When you get a half a dozen of these cruisers prowling the lake at a speed of 25 to 30 miles per hour, you can not find a vicinity on the whole lake that is not disturbed by swells from the boats of the elite. Our takes are not large enough on which to operate battle ships and cruisers and speed demons. Martin W. Levemier
