HARRIS Chairman ORDINANCE NO. 1966-1 An Ordinance Restricting Parking Within The Town Os Miford Junction And Fixing Penalties For The Violation Thereof BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Milford Junction as follows: Section 1 ' The > ovisions of this ordinance prohibiting the parking of vehicles on certain st re-is and other public areas within the Town of Milford Junction between certain hours shall not relieve any person from the duty to observe other and limiting the stepping, standing or parking of vehicles in specified places or at specfled times or in an emergency declared by the police or tire forces. a Section II It be unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any motor truck, automobile, motorcycle or any Other vehicle on the Town parking lot behind, the Town Hall in the Town of Milford Junction from 2 am. to 6 a m. Section 111 It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any motor truck, automobile, motorcycle or other vehicle for a period of more than one hour on the south side of Emeline Street from the southwest corner of its intersection with Main Street west to a point 65 feet west of said southwest corner. Section IV Any person violating any one or more of the provision of the foregoing sections of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than SI.OO nor more than SIO.OO for each offense, in any Court of competent jurisdiction. It shall be lawful for the appropriate police officer of the Town, upon a first offense, to issue a warning ticket, for a second offense, the fine shall be SI.OO for such offense: upon the third offense the fine shall be $2 00. All fines shall be payable at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town Hall within twenty-four (24) hours after the issuance of notice of said violation. For failure to pay fines as herein provided or for additional offenses, the police officer shall file an affidavit in a Court of competent jurisdiction alleging the violation of any section of this ordinance. Section V Any ordinancees or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect from and after Its passage, approval and publication and the posting of signs as herein required.
