Tabor ». Church Os God The Findlay college A Cappeila choir will present a concert of sacred music on Thursday. Tabor church, is host minister, / Findlay college. loeateer in Findlay. Ohio, is a liberal arts college of more than l JOO full-time students. an institution of higher learning for the Churches of God in North America. The choir is in its 18th year of organization under the direction of Dr. John R. Van Nice, chairman of the division of fine arts at Findlay college. Over the past 15 years Dr. Van Nice and the choir have traveled over 20.000 miles, representing Findlay college in 11 of the central and the eastern states. Its annual tour this year will take it into churches and schools in Indiana. Illinois, lowa. Kansas, and Missouri. ? The concert is open to the public and an offering will be taken to help defray the expenses of the tour. Lakeland Board In Meeting Tuesday Members of the Lakeland school board met in the superintendent’s office Tuesday and heard George Bartuska. Jr., of Mauer. Inc., school architects, explain the electrical aspects of the different remodding programs in the corporation. It was also decided to request bidders on the Milford high school project to include a bid on the replacement of the clock and wiring at the high school. The next meeting will be an appropriations hearing scheduled for Tuesdav. March 29. 1 L Clifford Wogoman Home On Leave From Germany S/P4 Clifford Wogoman is at the home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Wogoman, Syracuse, on a 30-day leave from a tour of duty at Baumholder, Germany.

Milford-Syracuse WCTU Meets In Deardorff Home Mrs. Lydia Deardoff and Ida Deardroff were hostesses to the Womens Christian Temperance Union in their home at Syracuse Tuesday evening. Mrs. Lena Bauer presideci Mrs. Cleveland Shuder gave the devotions from John 4-16, also reading “Changing World” and "Heaven.” “Just for Today” was the prayer. Interesting current events were given for roll call by. the 10 members present. Mrs. Ralph Bushong, a guest, spoke and gave astounding facts about the present day obscene literature. Mrs. Glen Morehouse conducted the buisness session. MILFORD LIONS MAP TOWN FOR CALENDAR SALES Members of the Milford Lions club met Monday evening in the Twentieth Century restaurant north of town and received assignments jfor covering the town during the annual calendar sales. Last year the profits from the j sales went to the Boy Scouts. No decision has been made to date on what the money will be used for, however, it will be for the betterment of the community. Ebenezer Ladies Aid Meets With Mrs. Thomas , The Ebenezer Ladies aid met in the home of Mrs. Edna Thomas Thursday with president Mrs. Ther•ies Doll opening the meeting. Devotions were given by Mrs. Floyd Wickstrom, missionary chi , furlough from Nigeria. Africa. She gave a very interesting talk, using as her theme the word “Aid,” from Ladies Aid. relating some incidents of her work in Nigeria. During the business meeting it was voted to give a love gift to the Paul Pollock family as he is; still in Parkview hospital at Fort i , Wayne as the result of a serious ,
automobile accident. TTie meeting was closed with group singing and repeating the Lord’s Prayer. Refreshments were served by the hostess and the co-hostesses. Mrs. Blanche Starkey and Mrs. Vernon Fawiey. The April meeting will be in the home of Mrs. Stanley Lung on Thursday. April 21.
