the Syracuse Lake Property Owners Association. Ralph Thornburg and Frank Ridenoure, appeared to ask
if there were any restrictions on gas pumps or a toning ordinance restricting the sale of gasoline on Syracuse Lake. They were refering to the resort, formerly the Nicolai cabins, on Front street. The property is now owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Kuilema who plan to install a gasoine pump for commercial use.

After some discussion with town attorney Robert Reed and clerktreasurer Walter Calnon the lake association members were advised to talk to the plan commission. : Floyd Schlotterback, of the civil ! defense, thanked the town board members for their cooperation of the past year in behalf of the Syracuse unit. Board president Byron Connolly said he believed the past year was a good one and much had been accomnlished. Mr. Calnon reported the only unfinished business is the Front street bridge. Present were board president CUnnolly, Willard Nusbaum, Mrs. Frank Bates, Lorin Longenbaugh, and Vernon Beckman, board members; also, clerk-treasurer Calnon. : attorney Reed, street and water commissioner Walter Hagerdon. STOOKEY, Kenneth Ray Mr. and Mrs. George Stookey of Brownsburg became the parents of their first son on Wednesday. Dec. 15. The baby was named Kenneth Ray and weighed in at seven pounds, three ounces. Kenneth has three sisters. Linda 10, Lisa 7, and Laurie, 4. His motlier is the former Nola Meek of Syracuse.
