Brighten Potato Salad With Dill

Rotato salad comes in many versions and styles, but this one combines the simplicity of a well seasoned com oil and vinegar dressing with an extra fillip from the dill. Use fresh dill weed if your garden affords it,'or dry from your spice shelf. The warm potatoes absorb the flavors, and the crisp Western iceberg lettuce supply the added greens. DILL POTATO SALAD cup water 1 teaspoon tarragon leaves, 1. envelope Knorr golden crushed onion soup 1 teaspoon dill, fresh or dry 3 pound* potatoe* (about 9 teaspoon celery seed medium or 12 small) ■> teaspoon salt (about) •< cup Mazola corn oil • . 2 tablespoons vinegar . 54 teaspoon pepper 1 tablespoon light corn syrup Western iceberg lettuce Pour water" over soup mix in bowl. Let stand while preparing other ,ngredients. Cook potatoes In boiling water until tender. Combine corn oil. vinegar, com syrup, tarragon, dill, celery seed, salt, pepper and soup mixture. Pare and slice potatoes into large bowl while still warm. Shake dressing well to blend, then pour over warm potatoes. Toss lightly. Chill at least 3 hours, overnight if possL ble. Serve on lettuce. Makes 10 servings. .' THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the Board of School' Trustees of Lakeland Community School Corporation. Kosciusko County. Indiana acting pursuant to Chapter 296 of the" Acts of 1963 of the Indiana General Assembly, as amended. as follows: 1. That the geographical and political area of land known as the South onehalf of Section 16 and the Southwest one-fourth of Section 15 in Jefferson Township. Kosciusko County. Indiana, be, and it is hereby, released from and declared not a part of. the said Lakeland Community School Corporation, this release and declaration being resolved for the purpose of permitting said area, of land to be annexed by and to become a part of the said Wa-N. ■> Community Schools of Elkhart and Kosciusko Counties. Indiana, said release and declaration and said annexation to become effective as provided for in the following paragraph '2. and from and after such effective date the geographical area comprising the said Lakeland Community School ' Corporation shall not include , the geographical and political area of land known as the South one-half of Section 16 and the Southwest one-iourth of Section 15 in Jefferson Township. Kosciusko County Indiana. 2. The annexation of said area of land known as the South one-half of Section 16 and the Southwest one-fourth of Section 15 in Jefferson Township. Kosciusko County, Indiana, by Wa-Nee Community Scnools as set forth in paragraph 1 above shall take place January’ 1. 1966. 3.
