AN OPEN LETTER Most communities have a policy where town business is let to local merchants on a rotation basis. This policy should also be true in Syracuse. Our station was promised the servicing of town vehicles for the month of September, bat none ever came our way. We wonder why. Sept. 28, at the home of Mrs. Herbert Morehouse with Mrs. Richard Gandy as co-hostess. Projects of the evening was knotting comforts and lap robes. The comforts were presented to the Parker family of Syracuse. The Parker home was recently gutted by fire. The lap robes were given to the Ora nursing home, Milford.
