The North Webster Methodist church was appropriately and attractively decorated with two large baskets of white shasta daisies and white snapdragons last Sunday afternoon when Miss Rebecca Ellen Ritchie became the bride of Jack C. Rhoades at 2:30 before an altar banked with palms, white satin bows and two seven branched candelabras. White satin bows also marked the pews. Reverend Chares I. The bodice was toppetl with a lace jacket with scoop neckline and butterfly sleeves of elbow lentgh. A matching loce pill box held her two tiered shoulder length veil. She wore a floor length A-line dress of white silk shanteen with empire waist. circled' with reseda green velvet ribbon bowed in back with . streamers to hemline of skirt. The bodice was fashioned with scoop neckline trimmed with self fabric double ruffle I and short sleeves. She wore a matching babushka trimmed at front and tied with reseda green velvet ribbon and carried a brown wicker basket filled with blue ies.Miss Kay Lynn Browning, of Muncie, cousin of the bride and Miss Sharon Pearl of r 1, North Vebster served as bridesmaids. Miss Kathy Rhoades, sister of the groom was junior bridesmaid. The ■ bridesmaids’ gowns, headdresses and flowers were the same material and stvle as those of the matron Os honor.'Mrs. James Teghtmeyer of Columbia City made all the Lowns except one which was made by Mrs. Gordon Blauser of Dewart e. .' . . I Mrs. Ritchie was attired in beige cotton lace dress with bone accessories. The groom’s mother wore an apricot boucle. knit dress with brown and beige 'accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of small vellow rosebuds.

The reception was held in the,church dining room immediately following the ceremony. The serving table, covered with white nylon net over bridal satin was centered with a beautiful arrangement of green and blue Queen Ann s Lace and ivy flanked by a double crystal candelabra with tall white tapers on either side. The four tiered wedding cake which was Cut by Miss Linda Snyder, was decorated in white and silver topped by a silver cross with double ring. Punch was . served by Mrs. Charles Ailes. They . were assisted by the Misses Betty . Clayton, Carolyn Dinsmore, Jane Raver and Cheryl Miller — all I school friends of the bride. Miss Dianne’Christner, Warren. Indiana 1 had charge of the guest book. The !Miriam Circle of the ■ Women S Society of Christian Service was in charge of the reception. Mr. and Mrs. Rhoades did not disclose the destination of their {wedding trip but announced that they will be at home in Fort Wayne after August 30. For her going a- . way dress the bride chose a two pi-X-e light blue whipped cream crepe with white coin dots -and black' patent leather accessories.
