Mr. Garner urges all new students. especially kindergarten and first graders, to register with him before the September 8 opening of school. — A new teacher ; this year in the Leesburg elementary school is Sara E. Gosser who will he teaching a third and fourth grade; combination class. Mrs. Gosser is the wife of the Leesburg Methodist > minister and taught in Kokomo schools previously to coming to Lees- J burg. She is a graduate of Goshen college. * 1 Jilt. • ELEMENTARY — Teaching the sixth grade in Leesburg this year is Charles Lentz who is a 1965 gradu-: ate of Indiana State uinversity. This is his first year of teaching. ,

COURT NEWS Divorce Filed La Nita Butler, Syracuse, has filed for divorce in Kosciusko circuit court against Doyle D. Butler. The couple was married August 1, 1961, and separated August 14, 1965. The plaintiff seeks custody of their four children, aged 13, 11, 10 and nine.

ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD The organizational meeting of the Women's Tuesday Afternoon Bowling League was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wawasee Bowl. - RETURN FROM TRIP EAST Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Orn of Milford returned Tuesday morning after spending a week out east. They attended the 18th reunion of Mr. Om’s 69th division of WW II in Harrisburg, Pa. They also visited Gettysburg and Mr, and Mrs. Frank Gatti in Springfield, Mass. A demonstration occured while they were in Springfield.
