Entries And Prize Winners In Woman's Building At Fair

The women's building on the Kosciusko county fairground had a new look this year. The needlework division and the flowers exchanged places, thus making room for the 107 entries in the clothing division. That division of the exhibit has grown in the past two years so that! next year it will be a category of its own. This year the superintendent and secretary of the needlework exhibit took care of the clothing as well The number of exhibits in all categories are about the same as last year with the exception of the cloth--I ~ ■ Mrs. Robert Bishop and! Mrs. Don Boggs, both of near Leesburg, were superintendent and secretary of the ig and candy division. Hie following are the prize winners: For candy, first place winners. Mrs. Rex Clinker. In the baking and candy division :here were 263 entries: WHITE CROSSES TO BE USED BY STATE POLICE For the remainder of 1965. a white cross will mark the spot where motorists are k lied in t raffic accidents on rural roads and highways in Indiana. O’Neal announced today that troopers will begin installing the crosses this j week at the scene of fatal accidents they investigate. \ ‘These white crosses,” O'Neal said “will serve- as a grim reminder to other motorists passing by and ias a tragic memorial to those who I died."
