Community Shocked By Garland Gebert Death
■< A truck accident five miles west of Helena, O. took the We of a lifetime resident of Pierceton on Friday morning. July 9- Garland Horner Gebert. 54. was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving collided with an empty cattle truck at 7 20 a rt. The Gebert truck hit the side of the other vehicle, driven by Clarence Otis McN'ieol. 57, of Adrian Mi ■t. causing tire cab to disintegrate and the fettle truck and trailer to turn on its side. Gebert was thrown clear of the wreckage but alighted inside a ring of fare causing some bums to his back and head. He died of a crushed chest, skull fracture and internal injuries.
