Entertains Husbands At I Smorgasbord The members of the Busy Bee 1 Home Ec. club entertained their ’ husbands at a smorgasbord dinner 1 Friday evening. June 4. at the t Westminster hotel. Winona Lake. An old-fashioned theme was car- ' tied throughout the party with esaeh f one present wearing an bld-fashion- : ed hat. A committee, consisting of Mrs Ray Bray. Mrs Dorral , McFaren. , Mrs. Herman Miller, and Mrs. Ray- ' mond Pinkerton greeted the guests i attiivd in old-fashioned costumes. B uquets of white daisies, black 1 candleholders with red candles and red paper bandanna napkins decorated the tables. At each husband's riace was a red bandanna handkerehief. ? 80 AND STILL ACTFVE — Waldo j E. Yeater is 80 and still active in the t publishing of The Fanner's Ex- r change at New Paris. Yeater founded the paper and was editor for 35 I years. He observed his 80th birth- I day on May 30, and although unoL fieially retired since 1961, still likes I to “hang out" around the print shop and give a hand here and there. Waldo and his wife Martha enjoy traveling together part of the time. They recently observed their seventh wedding anniversary with a trip to Memphis. Tenn. They stopped off to see relatives in Indianapolis and Kentucky also. Most of the driving was done by Air. Yeater. We are wishing many more active and happy years to our eld friend.
