Eta Beta Pi Holds First Meeting The first meeting of the Eta Beta IPi Sorority of 1965 was held Monday evening at Rubie's Party House in Milford with Mrs. Harold, Bums of South Bend as hostess.Nineteen members ' found their places at the attractively decorated tables. Variegated carnations were used on each table, along with pastel ribbon pompons which served as favors and nutcup holders. A. dessert and coffee were served before the business meeting which was conducted by Mrs. Roy Schultz. Reports of the November meeting and the Christmas, party were read since no meetings were field in January and February. The committee for the anniversary party announced the date as April 12 and the meeting place at Mrs. LaMar Garber’s home in Elkhart, where further announcement would be made. Five tallies of bridge .were in play during the social hour, with Mi's. Hursey also playing. Score • were awarded to Mi's. Esther Gentzhom of Elkhart. Mrs Charles Keren. PYTHIAN CLUB CELEBRATES 40th BIRTHDAY The Pythian Club of Syracuse, observed its 40th anniversary Wednesday afternoon. March 3, at the home of the president, Mrs. Ella Unrue. The club was organized in February 1925 at the home of Mrs. Unrue who. was' the first president. Mrs. Elnora Colwell was the vice president and Mrs Lulu HolloWay was die secretary-treasurer. Other charter members were Mrs. Sue Bowser. Mrs. Abhy Buchholz. Mrs. Laura Bowld. Mrs. Edith Widner, Mrs. Amy Harkless. Mrs. Kit Rip-' ptey, Mis. Mae. Hontz; and Mrs. Lillie Hoopingarner.
