Intermediate Mother’s Chiß Has Yule Party The Intermediate Mother's dub of Syracuse bdd a dinner party at Foo and Faye’s restaurant, Mosrday, Dec. 14, with 23 members present. Mrs. Vearl Gaff of South Whitley arid Mrs. Howard Juday were guests. The theme of the party was “Christmas in Florida’’ with the punch table decorated with miniature palm trees and the dinner table ia Christmas appointments. Wednesday Afternoon Club Has Yule Party The Wednesday Afternoon club at Syracuse held its Christmas party on Wednesday, Dec. 16, in the home of Mrs. Ralph W. Thornburg with 21 members present, including one new member. Mrs. Milton Brice. Associate members, Mrs. Blanche Thornburg and Mrs.' Georgia Miller, were also present. Mrs. Ruth Rapp, president, presided at a business session and announced that the club had won $lO in the Federation of Women’s clubs district as a result of having the greatest number of members writing to the congressmen to oppose the King-Anderson bill and to continue to promote the KerrMills bill. Mrs. William T. Jones, Jr., presented the program by reading the story, “The Littlest ' - o el”, and several Christmas poems. Following a gift exchange refreshments were served in keeping with the season by the hostess. The next meeting will be held on January 6. in the home of Mrs. Blanche Thornburg with Mrs. Vem Brinkman and Mrs. M. W. Macy as hostesses. SYR.XCUSE MAN ENTERS CLEVELAND CLINIC Herbert Linviil, Syracuse, entered the Cleveland, 0., clinic on Sunday, Dec. 20. Mrs. Linvill accompanied her husband to Cleveland. He will be under observation.

Miss Kathleen Rhinehart Weds John L Dye In Double Ring Ceremony Friday

Miss Kathleen Rhinehart became the bride of John L. Dye in a double ring ceremony in the First Methodist church at Warsaw at 7:30 p. m. FYiday, Dec. 11. Miss Rhinehart is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noel RhinehArt of r 4 Warsaw. Mr. Dye’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dye of Lfeesburg. Rev. L. Ray Sells, pastor of the ' First Methodist church, read the marriage service in the presence of | the immediate family members before an altar decorated with pink carnations and white ; mums and candelabras. Mrs. Robert Loop served as organist. Bride in Mohair Suit For her wedding the bride chose a three piece white mohair suit which featured a straight skirt and a long sleeves chanel type jacket. She wore a short blush veil of nylon maline over a braid frame. It was studded with small mock pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink rosebuds and white stephanotis. She was given in marriage by her father. 7 Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Donna Stevens of r 1 Warsaw. She wore a pink wool sheath with three-quarter length sleeves and a jewel neckline. Her | headdress was an open ring of rayon

satin which held a veil with rhinestones. The maid of honor carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white carnations. Bob Dye of Leesburg served as his brother’s best man. The candles were lighted by Jack Rhinehart, brother of the bride. Mrs. Rhinehart wore a blue and white two piece nylon suit. Mrs. Dye chose a three piece peacock knit suit. Both ladies wore white carnation corsages. Reception Follows A reception followed in the bride’s home for 75 persons. The serving table was decorated in pink and white and held a three-tiered wedding cake topped with pink bells, i Serving were Miss Nancy Goon and Miss Judi Smith. The Misses Suspn and Nancy Dye, sisters of the bridegroom, opened the gifts, and Miss Lynne Beebe presided at the guest book. Following a week end in Fort Wayne the couple is residing on r 4 \Varsaw Whe bride is a senior at Leesburg high school and a part time music teacher. The bridegroom is a graduate of Leesburg high school and is a student at Manchester college. SENIOR MOTHER’S CLUB HOLDS DINNER PARTY " The Senior Mother’s club met Monday evening, Dec. 14, at Foo and Faye’s restaurant for its Christmas dinner party. There were 21 members present. Tables were in winter appointment with snowmen, greenery, and sleighs. Favors were miniature snowmen. Following a gift exchange Christj mas carols were sung with Mrs. Foo Wong accompanying at the organ. Mrs. Richard Rondot was chairman of the party. The president. Mrs. John Cripe, presided at a short business session. The next meeting will be held on January 11 in the home of Mrs. Leonard Barnhart. Mrs. Ruth DeFries spent Monday afternoon in the home of her sister. Mrs. Virginia Bockman of North Webster.
