808 AMBER’S TEAM HAS 7 WINS The Noble county boys playing independent basketball for Bob Amber of Churubusco ran their season record to 7-0 in recent action. The dub defeated Ashley 151-89, with eight men hitting in double , figures, passed by Bill Landon of Wawaka with 33* and Art Grovvcock of Albion with 20. At Goshen Saturday, the boy plaved the Goshen college junior varsity with a 83-78 win. Tlie Amber boys trailed until the last 4 minutes of the game when they pulled ahead to win the game. I Paul Michael and Tom Donat paced the late second half rally. Larry Targgart led all scorers with 21 points to his credit. Michaels, Donat and Hackett each hit 13. CROMWELL LIONS SPONSORING BENEFIT PARTY There is a very worthwhile project underway in the West Noble community of Cromwell. On Saturday. Dec. 5. the Lions club of Cromwell is sponsoring a benefit party for the educational fund of a young man injured very severely in a train-truck accident last August.
