DTCiubs Entertain Milford 4-H Girls Friday Four home demonstration clubs of the Milford area—Town and Country, Buss- Bees, Busy Homemakers, and the Home Arts—entertained the 4-H girls of Milford on Friday evening. The tea was held at the fire station with approximately 75 persons present from the Senior Merry Maidens, Junior Merry Maidens, Junior Misses and Senior Homemakers 4-H clubs, mothers and home demonstration club members. A girls trio composed of Becky Brown. Becky Barker and Debbie Jessop sang two numbers and Gingger Hollar showed slides of her trip to Europe. The tea table was decorated with deep red and yellow mums and red and yellow leaves witfi gords and bittersweet. The centeripece was made by Mrs. Joseph Ostendorf. The committee composed of Mrs. Charles Teeple, Mrs. Herbert Cain, Mrs. Herman Miller and Mrs, Lawrence Myers served refreshments of cake and punch to those present. Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Silver -Lake, Kosciusko County, Indiana: SECTION 1. That all the streets in th' town of Silver Lake. Indiana excepting the main thoroughfares under state jurisdiction, shall haVe a reasonable and sa ( fe prima facie speed limit of . twenty miles - - per hour. SECTION II That appropriate signs giving notice thereof shall be posted on the streets in said Town of Silver Lake, and that said speed limits shall become effective when appropriate signs have been posted on' the streets of the town. SECTION 111. That this ordinance is made pursuant to the Statutes of Indiana. Acts of 19391. Chapter 48. and Acts of 1959, Chapter 141, providing, for the alteration of prima facie limits by local authorities, and the erection of appropriate signs, and Acts of 1939. chapter 48 providing for penalties for their violation.
