Legion Auxiliary Plans Birthday Party •- At the regular meeting of the Herbert Kuhn Unit 253 of the American Legion Auxiliary held last Tuesday night plans were made to celebrate the. birthday of the local post and unit at the Legion home Saturday night, Oct. 17. -All members of the Legion post and Auxiliary unit and their families are incited to the carry m dinner at which the Auxilary unit will furnish the meat, rolls, butter and coffee. Members are asked to bring a covered dish and table service. Mrs Mervm Wagoner, president of the unit, presided at the meeting and gave a report on the Knightstown Day program which a group of Legion and Auxiliary members attended and of a visit with the Knightstown child sponsored by the unit. The door prize was presented to Mrs Paul Beezlcy and Mrs. Robert Schafer received the president's project gift. Fruit cups, wafers and coffee were served to the thirteen members present by Mrs. Verland Bockman and Mrs Paul Beealey. -NWMFNZIF. TWINS OBSERVE SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY | Mr. and Mrs C. Menzie, Jr., entertained recently with a supper, birthday cake and ice cream, honoring their twin daughters; Jean and Joann, on their seventeenth birthday. Mrs Charles Harris gave a report, on her trip to Grand Temple meeting in Indianapolis recently.
