Mrs. Oliver Glen Brown Mrs. Oliver Glen (Eda) Brown, ( 59. of r 2, Cambridge City and St. Petersburg, Florida, died of an extended illness at her Cambridge City home on Saturday, July 18, at 12:30 p. m. Mrs. Brown was the mother of Mrs. Robert Arthur of Dewart lake. Tiie deceased was bom in Covington. 0., on January 10, 1905. She was the daughter of Presley F. and Lydia Ann 'Smith 1 Black. She was a member of the First Baptist , church in Cambridge City. I Mrs. Brown is survived by her ‘ husband, two/ sons, Robert of Greenville. O. and Fred of St. Petersburg. Fla. and by two other daughters in addition to Mrs. Arthur. They are Mrs. Glen I (Esther) Byrd of Cambridge City ; and Mrs. Betty. Adrian of Richmond. She is.also '•urvived by a step son. ' Earl Brown of Holly. Mich., and a i brother, Lee Black, of Oke Mach, Okla., and 14 grandchildren, including Deborah and Shertee Arthur, of Dewart Lake. SEE GRANDSON PITCH AT MARION Mr. and Mrs. George Auer of r 1, Milford and Mrs. Stan Scott lof r 3, Syracuse went to Marion on Monday evening to watch the Auer's grandson, Danny Thwaits, i pitch a little league game. Danny, who is the son of Mr.' and Mrs. Verl Thwaits of Manon, plays for the South Marion Business and Professional Men's club team. The game turned into a real i thriller when after the first of the I6tii inning with the other team a- ! head 8 to 1. Danny's team scored nine runs the last half of the 6th and at the end of the game were ahead 10-8. The games are played in only 6 innings. Afterwartis the Auers, Mrs. Scott and the Thwaits family enjoyed homemade ice cream and cake in the Thwaits home. Mrs. Thwaits is i the former Marietta Auer.

Dan Bridenstir.e, local manager I for the Milford plant of the Jaxco, Inc., glove factory with home offices in Wautoma, Wis., announced early this week that the plant is leaving Milford for good. The local factory has been known as the Lambert Glove Manufacturing Co. even since it was .sold to Jaxco in July of 1962. The former owner and operator of the factory was Ed Lambert, who started the factory in 1946. Mr. Lambert, who is a former Warsaw resident, now resides in Indianapolis and works in the state auditor’s office.

I The women employees of the plant worked their last day on Friday, July 17, * Mr. Bridenstine and other male help are now in the process of dismantling the factory and plan to have the job completed sometime in August. Fabulous King's Men To Appear At Youth Center
A slick little combo, billed as the Fabulous King’s Men from Indianapolis, is, scheduled to appear at the Lakeland Youth Center in downtown Syracuse. Saturday night. Composed of five young musicians, they are “the hottest little combo in the state capital,” according to Bob and Ray Webster of the House of i Harter, the sponsoring firm. I The group will appear at House of Harter in Wawasee Village at 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a matinee.
