Nuptial Vows Exchanged Sunday By Gloria Ann Huber And Jay Gooding

Nuptial vows were exchanged Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Brenneman Memorial United Missionary church, Goshen, by Miss Gloria Ann HUber, daughter of Mrs. Flossie m. Huber of Goshen and the late Fred W. Huber. and Jay Ronald Gooding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil L Gooding of Muncie Rev. Harold Ford officiated at the double ring service. Few bows marked the v bridal aisle and palms and pink and white gladioli and majestic daisies decorated the altar. Nuptial music was provided by Lawrence Stump, soloist, accompanied by Miss Diane Whittle, organist. Jeffrey Lee Huber and Michael Culp placed the white aisle runner | preceding the ceremony. Gown of Silk Organza Given in marriage by her brother Warren Lee Huber, the bride was attired in a gown of silk organza over taffeta, styled with long sleeves. a fitted lace bodice embellished with iridescent 'beach and a Jacej voke. The bell-shaped skirt, ornamented with Chantilly lace appli- j ques and sequins, fell into a peacock train. Her elbow length veil was held by a cabbage rose edged | with sequins and pearls, and she• carried a bouquet of pink Sweetheart roses on a white Bible. Small rosebuds were fastened to streamers adorning the bouquet. Mrs. Ray Stutzman of Colorado Springs, Colo., attended her sister as matron of honor, and the misses Gladys and Barbara Huber, also sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. They wore identical streetlenght dresses of pink crystallete over taffeta fashioned with fitted bodices, "scoop pecklines and bellshaped skirts with detachable overskirts fastened at the back by large bows. They wore matching rose headpieces and carried cascade bouquets of white carnations centered with pink tea roses. The bridesmaids' bouquets, also in cascade arrangements, were white carnations feathered pink at the centers Steve Cormany of Milford served as best man. Ushers were Jerry and John Gooding of Muncie. Don Hostetler of Goshen and Howard Woodward erf Milford. Reception Followed A reception followed in the church fellowship room with Mrs. Russell Saal as hostesss. Following a week's trip to Colorado. Mr, and Mrs. Gooding will reside on r 4 Goshen. The bride, a Goshen high school graduate, is a secretary for die law 1 firm of Mehl. Mehl and Beeson. Goshen. Mr. Gooding, a graduate of Muncie Central high school, is presently employed by the I-XL Furniture Company. Inc. at Goshen. He served two years in the United States -

Mills of Goshen and Dr. Joe Jontz and Dr. James Mench of Fort Wayne returned Sunday from a 10-day fishing trip to Cowie Lake, Canada. Bums Van Sickle of Syracuse and Dan Baer of Goshen have returned from a week hunting and fishing trip at Spanish, Ont., Canada. Mr. Van Sickle returned with a 300 pound black bear he had killed. Mr. and Mrs. Cressell Kitson of Syracuse had as their guests Sunday, Mrs. Gene Miller and daughters and Harry Tarman of Markel, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Felkner of Milford arid Rev. and Mrs. Floyd Hedges of Winona. Mrs. Kroh and son remained for the week, Mr. Hiiburt was called to Florida by the illness of his father. John Holloway, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Holloway of Syracuse is at the home of his parents for 30 days leave. John has just returned from 13 months tour of duty in Korea. He will report to Camp Eustis, W. Va. after his leave. Russell Kann of Warsaw was among the seniors honored during services at the Milford Christian church on Sunday morning.
