S/Sgt. H. H. Peterson Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the YokerCiilp funeral home at Goshen for SSgt. Hube Hans Peterson, 52. of Goshen, who died unexpectedly in a heart attack at 1 p.m. Saturday. Sgt Peterson was born Now'. 19, 1911. He married Kathleen Myers on Nov. 26. 1963. He had served in the Army for 18 years. Survivqrs include the widow; one Mrs. William tDonnal - Whitacre - of r 1 Leesburg: obe son, Hube H Jr.; one Mrs. Jon V. Robinson of Goshen; four step-sons. Larry. Thomas. David and Frederick Myers, all of Goshen; four and two stepgrandchiidren. * x.'>/ '.in® -i William Henry Randall William Henry Randall. <4, of Burket, father of Lawrdttte and Paul Randall of Leesburg, died at 3 p.m. Monday in the Alfran The president-elect Mrs. Michael Mr. Randall was born at Monoquet. near Warsaw, on July 12. 1889. the. son of Grant and Rachel ‘Nine* Randall. A retired farmer and a lifetime resident of Kosciusko county. Mr. Randall was unted in marriage to Nelle Smith on Sept. 3. 1907. Surviving in addition to the widow and two Leesburg sons are three daughters. Mrs. Wilburn Morrison of Warsaw. Mrs. Freda Baugher of Burket and Mrs. Edith Mast of Thousand Oaks. Calif.; two other sons, Donald of Palestine and Roy of Warsaw; one sister, Mrs. Howard Wiley of South Bend; 23 grandchild re n; and 29 great-grand-children. Final rites will be held at 1:03 p.m. today (Thursday) in the McHatton funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. EXECUTIVE BOARDS MAKES ARBOR DAY PLANS The executive board of the Syracuse Campfire Girls, met recently at the Scout cabin. The meeting was conducted by the chairman Mrs. John Craw. BETHEL YOUTH IN REGULAR MEETING The youth group of the Bethel Church of the Brethren in Milford held it’s regular meeting last Thursday evening at the church. The topic for the evening , was “When Should I Marry” and was the last of the current series on dating. - ’Devotions for the Evening were gh*en by Sharron Moneyheffer. Discussion was held about the program which the youth was in charge of for Sunday ■evening. Mar. 8, and also attending the speech-contest at Union Center on Sunday afternoon. Refreshments of root beer floats were served to the 13 youth and the two counselors present by Lowell Rheinheimer and Larry Hoover. The next meeting will be held March 19 at the staff house at Camp Mack. INSTALL TELETYPESETTER — Movers are Shown installing an Intertype Teletypesetter linecasting machine at The Mail-Jour-nal printing plant at Milford on Friday. ■The new machine is operated by perforated tape, an automated step to speed up typesetting on The Mail-Journal. The method is a new concept in typesetting in this area and marks another “first” for The Mail-Journal. No
in this county have adopted this new method of typesetting before. The new machine gives The Mail-Journal three linecasting machines. Operating the Chore-Time Equipment Co. fork lift is Darrell Orn, a C-T employee. Other men are from, a Fort Wayne moving i firm.
