Town Board • (Continued from page 1) - nois firm stated that with the conventional plant it would take a town employee two, three or four hours a day, six or seven days a week to see that the chores „around the plant are completed. An oxidation system or pond would only have to be checked once a week. This too must be considered before the final plans are drawn up. Following the explanations several questions were asked by town board members and attorney Logue One question asked was about storm sewers being combined with the disposal sewers. Mr. Woodman’s answer to this question was that the state does not allow combined sewers. Following the discussion Darrell Orn made a motion on a plan for application for the preliminary project. This was seconded by Mr. Rink and passed by the board. Other Business Fire chief Harold Kaiser was present and a aired how much was appropriated to the department. He then asked for the board’s cooperation in not paying bills for the fire department until he has seen and approved them. The board agreed to do this. He was instructed to prepare a list of streets that are in the worst shape and present it to the board at the next meeting. Mr. Rink was instructed by the board to purchase these flags from the Milford Legion. -I Chief Pierson also reported to the board that >2OO had been received from Chore-Time equipment for checking the plant at night. The money will be used to purchase a fingerprinting kit and to purchase new uniforms for the officers. A letter was read by clerk-treas-urer Baumgartner on the need of street lights in Milford. Since no money was put in the budget for this nothing can be done until next year. Another letter from Bill Carroll was read.
