Mrs. Zella Rowe of Oswego spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lindquist of Chicago. From there she left by plane for Phoenix, Ariz. to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Plew. Mrs. Rowe will California before returning home. She expects to be gone all winter. Mike Rodgers of Leesburg was an overnight guest of -Rodney Teeple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Teeple of Tippecanoe Lake. Hollar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donovan Hollar of 202 north Highland street, Nappanee, completed four weeks of combat training Oct. 14 at the Infantry Training Regiment, Camp Lejeune,, N. C. The training, the last phase of basic Marine training, teaches small unit tactics and live firing of weapons under simulated combat conditions. New Salem News By MRS.
