This recipe will serve six people, but requires only four eggs; BAKED OMELET 4 eggs ' 3 cups milk y 2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese (2 cups) 2 cups soft bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp, minced parsley 1 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce Beat eggs with a fork until light. Add milk, then add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a greased 1 %• quart casserole, set sdish in a pan containing an inch of hot water. Bake in a moderate oven (350 deg. F.) until firm. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving, or serve with Tomato Sauce. (Serves 6) ~ , TOMATO SAUCE 1 No. 2 can tomatoes 1 tsp. dried basil 1 onion, chopped 1 bay leaf y 2 tsp. salt % tsp. pepper 2 Tbsp, butter Simmer the tomatoes together with the rest of the ingredients, except the butter, for about ’/ 2 hour, or until sauce is reduced by a third. Strain, add butter, and serve with baked omelet.
